Condolences
Dear Kathy: I was saddened to hear of Ken's passing. My sincere sympathy to you Kathy and your family I have very fond memories of you and Ken. Curtis and I always enjoyed spending time with you on your trips to Nova Scotia.
Losing a loved one is difficult but I feel the love you shared and the wonderful memories you have will help you through.
Wishing you all the best
Joan Levangie
We are friends of Ken's sister (Nancy and Gil MacDonald) here in Nova Scotia. Although we never got to meet Ken...and you Kathy...we wanted to express our sincere sympathy to you and your family there. Knowing how kind and generous Nancy is to us and all of their friends, and how she speaks of him always as the man who was like a father to her, I am sure his loss will be felt by all.

Dear Kathy, would just like to share some lovely memories of Ken. He was a kind and sincere man and a true gentleman.
He had a quiet sense of humour; thinking back to my first time in Canada, in the seventies, when Ken drove us all to the Rockies for a trip and the joke he played on Robert where he told him he had been drinking the river water when he hadn’t and the look on Robert’s face, what a picture!
Nothing was too much trouble for him to show me the sights, including the Columbia ice fields, what a shock as we had just been sun bathing earlier. Just two of the many lovely memories.
All the times Brian and I have been in Ken’s company he has always been thoughtful, wanting to show us everything possible he could about Canada.
Remembering Ken with lots of laughing and joking. Clearing the pool at Radium Springs was a joke to remember which still leaves us laughing
Kathy, sending you lots of love and to the family too.
Thinking of you Ken, rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to Kenny's family. We have grown apart over the years but played together as children. Another cousin passed on to His glory.

Our deepest sympathy to you Kathy and family. We have fond memories of you and Ken spending time with us at our cabin at Sylvan Lake. We enjoyed our times spent with laughter and great conversations. We were amazed at Ken's talent with woodwork. Ken will be missed by his many friends at the TARA luncheons. Vicky & Ross Bandurk
My sincerest sympathies to you Kathy and all your extended family. Loved all the gatherings we had... the shared jokes and the laughs and, natch, the food & wine! Sadly, there are only the two of us left from the photo I added to the Photo page. It’s a widows world now but once this frigid winter ends, we can only hope to gather once again and share a glass (or 2) of the bubbly.
I am truly sorry to learn of Ken's passing. He was a great guy - he always had a great smile and warm greeting every time I met him. He will surely be missed. May he RIP. My sincere condolences to you, Kathy, and your entire family. You are in my prayers and may God Bless you all at this very difficult time.
Sincerely
Marilyn Plume
I will always remember Ken, my very kind Wildwood district teen neighbor, who gifted me his white sports coat that I wore to my Grade 9 graduation. I will never forget him and pray for peace for his family in their tremendous loss. Go with God dear friend.
Our heartfelt condolences to Aunt Kathy, Cousins Barb, Bob, and their families on the passing of Uncle Ken.
From 1961 helping at the wedding, to 1971 where I was welcomed when I needed a place to stay moving back from Regina, to our last visits a few years back, I will never forget the kindness and hospitality I received.
Ken's intelligence always impressed me, and his knack for woodworking. He always seemed to be smiling, and was one of the few people that got a chuckle out of my jokes.
Rest in peace, Uncle Ken.

A very sad day to hear of our dear fiend's passing. Ken and Kathy have been good friends to us since we've been in the neighborhood for the last 30 years. So many good memories of sharing our dinner tables with each other and the best part was the short walks home - just through our special "tunnel". Ken was a master craftsman with his beautiful woodworking projects, a gardener second to none ( Perry always said that their grass was the first on our block to show spring's brightest green because Ken must have done some spray painting during the night! ), a generous neighbor to anyone who asked his advice, a winemaker and father and grandfather who was very proud of his family. Kathy, you'll have difficult days ahead but know that you are in our hearts and always here, just across the street, to help in any way. Our condolences to all of the family. Ken, may you rest in peace.
With heavy hearts,
Perry and Cheech Katopodis
