Condolences
just learned this sad news last week while having dinner with a friend that I had not seen for a little while and I needed to respond and give my sense of a really kind and loving person Monty who always had the time for everyone and even though our time together was limited we always connected.
sometimes we have no answers…..may we never forget Monty!

Barry, I am so sorry to hear of Monty’s passing. Just heard today. I remember him from my Konica Minolta days. He was always very kind and eager to please.
I wish the very best for all of Monty’s loved ones, especially for his children. He was a close friend to my brother who loved Monty very much. I always enjoyed being around Monty, as he was a good person with a kind heart and soul. He was definitely a strong friend of the family. I wish all of you peace during this difficult time.
I met Monty through an old friend Scott McCargar who shared the same passion for drums. We would meet in Judy’s house in Deer Run to jam 80’s music and make lots of noise. Couple of years later …Monty and I took a summer trip to Vancouver and stayed at his dad’s house, where I was introduced to Jamie, who took us to a wild beach by the University of British Columbia. We had fun….I mean lots of fun. Monty’s flamboyance, good heart, and good manners will be missed. Our deepest ….sincere condolences to the whole family …..I miss you buddy.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to the McColl family. I am so sorry for your loss and thinking of Barry and the rest of the family at this time.
Sending my condolences and love to all of Monty’s family. Monty was one one of the most charismatic, kindest and funniest people I had the pleasure of knowing! There are so many wonderful memories from over the years that I will never forget! Love ya man, see ya on the other side XOXO
I send the McColl Family my deepest and sincerest condolences. I personally did not know him but I am good friends with his brother James. My heart goes out to all of you who knew him as Christmas is coming up and I know this will be hard to be without him. I send you all healing hugs at this sad time!
I met Monty 20 years ago when I was a waitress at Governors and he was just a really kind and good hearted person. My condolences to his family.
My deepest heartfelt sympathy and love goes out to all of Monty’s family and friends. I will always cherish the many years Monty and I were together; learning about love and testing boundaries, and doing our best to find our way in the world. He was the most unique individual I have ever known. His beautiful spirit and energy will live on in all those who knew him.
Until we meet again, Mont.
Always and forever, Erin
