Obituary of Colleen Constance FULLEN

January 1, 1961 – Camrose, Alberta December 3, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta Colleen Constance Fullen was born in Camrose on New Year’s Day in 1961. Our much loved sister, auntie, cousin, friend, and companion left this life on December 3, 2017 at the age of 56 years. Colleen was an authentic spiritual friend to all with an abundance of dynamic energy. She would often show up unexpectedly and unannounced in the lives of family, friends, and complete strangers alike with divine right timing to offer a kind word or a helping hand, all with her own unique blend of humour and advice for the wayward. A woman with many words, thoughts, and ideas, she was an informal educator to us all. She was one of the few persons who loved unconditionally; she cared deeply for her friends and family, and never left anyone behind. This was apparent in the way she acted and lived; she was a creative soul who gave, healed, and listened. Colleen always reminded us that truly strong and independent people need never be afraid about asking for help and she challenged us to be our best selves. Colleen was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by her siblings, along with their partners and children, – Norine, Verna, Robert, Errol, Karla, Ted, Wayne, and Connie – her many nieces and nephews including her great nieces and nephews, her cousins, Don, her many other friends, and her best friend of many decades, Martin. Colleen was coming home when she died; she just decided to bypass us en route to our true home. She will always be with us and we know we will see each other again. Please join us in a service of remembrance which will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In her honour, please wear her favorite colours, ‘plaid’ or green, if possible!
