Obituary of Thomas Patrick DOYLE

It is with great sadness hat the Doyle family announces the loss of Thomas Patrick Doyle. Tom passed away peacefully February 13, 2021, after battling cancer.

Tom Doyle was a major force in Calgary’s music theatre community. As a teacher, mentor, creator, artist, composer and collaborator, Tom influenced and guided hundreds of young artists. Working with Tom was always a joyous experience, filled with laughter, love and his trademark positive outlook. As a composer Tom’s works have been produced across Canada, he has collaborated with many notable artists, and was always regarded as an extremely valued colleague. Tom’s legacy will live on through his music and teachings. He leaves behind a loving family, the most amazing friends, and some incredibly inspired students. Tom will be sorely missed.
