My dearest friend Sandi, kindred spirit, “Sister from another Mother”, I miss you so much! Knowing that you are in Heaven with the Lord, without pain, my heart is a lot less sore, but there you will always remain. Our 22 years together now seem too short, but we did make some great memories together every year that I will never forget!

I have been thinking about you a lot recently as this would be the time of year you would be returning from Belize for our second visit of the year, and every time I thought about that, I heard your footsteps upstairs…letting me know you ARE here. My Guardian Angel, while here and now, I feel so blessed that our lives crossed AND look to the day when we will be together again.

Oh Sandi. The laughs we shared while you ruled the desk in millwork! Life at the Depot was always interesting and we were both fortunate to work with a great group of people. Joining you on the trip to your new home in Alberta was another adventure - who knew you must have been a truck driver in another life!

Though your time on earth was shorter than wished, I'm grateful you got to enjoy your retirement and travel as you planned. Many people delay such dreams but you charged ahead, full of steam and thrived. Lucky for us, we were able to experience some of it through the stories and pictures you shared.

You will be missed my friend. Rest in peace.
