Dear Auntie, Dorothy & Terry & family, Hal & Linda & family, Trudy, Ross & Clinton. It is very sad to lose our last uncle. As cousin Terry says” Uncle & Auntie never missed a family event.” All you had to do, was give them a call, and they would be there. Always with a big smile, big warm hugs. And if you needed some comforting words, they had those too. They would never turn down a drink or would always offer you one. We will always cherish those special times, and visits. Rest in piece uncle, and will see u again one day.. Love to you all.. Randy & Betty & family
Gladys and family:
My condolences to all of you. I remember Raymond from the time I was about 8 years old and he was always smiling, and kind. May all your wonderful memories give you peace and comfort at this difficult time. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Sharon (Mullis) Head
Dear Gladys and Family,
I am just so blessed that Ray and family invaded the neighbourhood some 50 years ago on Centre St. N. Our two families became fast friends and have shared so many great times over the years. Ray’s down home Saskatchewan warmth, bright smile and that chuckle just made everyone feel so welcomed. Ray was like a second Dad to me and taught me a lot over the years (and gave me heck too for things I’m sure I deserved - Dorothy got me in trouble). He will be so very missed but I look forward to sharing the many many stories of Ray with you all.
Ray, go beat my Dad in a game of crib!!
Love and hugs from Nancy and all the Denhoff’s.
Dear Gladys and family
My sincerest condolences for all with Rays passing. He was a fabulous person, I have missed you all since covid. came and now even more so. You are all in my prayers. Go Green !
Love
Don
Ray (Mr. H) was exactly that! A Ray of sunshine. Always had a smile and a joke or two. Sending love and hugs to the entire family. We will miss him a lot. Love, Faye and Pete

My deepest sympathies to the Hodgson family for the loss of Ray, their Husband Father and Grandfather.
Rest In Peace Ray.
I had the pleasure of meeting and having a few drinks with this wonderful man. What a joy that time was. I so enjoyed his sense of humour and the laughs. He will be missed. My thoughts are with the family during this sad time. Love and hugs. Darryl
Dear Auntie Gladys, Hal and Linda and family, Dorothy and Terry and family, Trudy, Ross and Clinton,
We are so very sad to hear of the passing of Uncle Raymond. He was the last of the St.Louis/MacDowall Hodgson family to leave us. I remember with fondness our years of making family memories with all of you in Calgary and area. We were lucky to meet up with you many times over the later years in Prince Albert and area. You never missed a family celebration...birthdays, weddings, reunions and funerals. We could always count on you to ‘be there’ for your family and friends. We will cherish our memories of fun family times and will remember Uncles infectious laughter and teasing nature. With fondness he often called me...’my girl’....
I know there is great celebration with those gone before him and maybe a few ‘shenanigans’....but always in fun. We share your sadness and know he will Rest In Peace after a life well lived! Our condolences and hugs...
Garry & Terry
