Condolences
We were so sorry to hear about Lynette's passing and would like to pass on our most sincere condolences to her family as well as some big hugs.
We fondly remember Lynette's kindness when we "stormed" your Fernie house. We also remember the not so fun event of Lynette's battle with the Poma lift at Snow Valley! We had such great fun with her and she is forever in our memories.
Robert, Brandon and Victoria,
We are so very sorry for your devastating loss and for all the pain and suffering you, and especially Lynnette, have had to go through. Lynnette was an original, with her bold honesty, her kind heart and very generous spirit - she was one of the most genuine people I know. Lynnette was also one of my very favourite Fongs, and I will most certainly miss this very dear lady, so I can only imagine how deeply this hurts those she loved the most, and blessed with her heart.
Katherine, Michael, Lauren and Tommy
To Robert, Brandon and Victoria, our deepest sympathies to you during this difficult time. We will miss her smile and sense of humor. She will be forever missed by friends and family.
Sue and Illyas

To my Uncle Robert, Brandon, and Victoria: It’s hard to lose someone who meant so much, and even harder that we can’t all be together to say good-bye. We want you to know that you are in our thoughts even from this distance and offer our deepest condolences.

To Robert, Brandon, and Victoria,
We were deeply saddened to hear of Aunt Lynnette's passing. We have fond memories of Aunt Lynnette as a great conversationalist, the life of the party who always lit up the room. We will miss her greatly, especially her laugh and witty remarks.

To Bob Brandon and Victoria I wanted to send my deepest condolences at the heartbreaking news of Lynnette’s passing. My memories of her go back a long way,
I was the thorn between two Scottish Thistles, with Lynnette up the top of the street and Anne Davies at the bottom. The three of us went through primary school and high school together, so there are many wonderful memories that have come flooding back. You always think there will be a next time you will see or hear of people who were part of your life, and this is a sad reminder not to wait for that next time, I wish I could make a CD of my memories and share them with you. Anne and I will be getting together over here in Australia to share our memories and have a dram for Lynette. I am so sorry for your loss and hope you hold each other close in the days ahead. My thoughts are with you Vicki Barker (Hoskins) and families ( a special message from my mum, My heart is broken that we have lost another gem from this world xx)
To the family and friends of Lynnette, I have fond memories of Lynn dating back to our shared 20s - great fun - lots of dancing, laughter and partying. Although distance has separated us for many years, l was kept up to date through mutual friends of her chosen life -the joy of her children, Canada happiness, her contented life with Bob and then her diagnosis. What followed was a determined and courageous battle, so Scottish- steadfast to the very end. I send my sincere condolences to Bob, Brandon and Victoria and remember a grand lady who did it her way. Cheers to you Lynn. Michele Middenway
Our beautiful sister, sister-in-law and Aunty Lynnette, you were fun loving, kind, generous, stylish and strong and we will miss you and our chats and our laughs enormously. All our love to Bob, Brandon, Victoria and thinking of Lynnette’s many friends also. James, Sue, Lauren, Brett and families.
Bob, Brandon and Tori, Dave and I are sending our condolences to you and are deeply saddened to hear of Lynette's passing. She was a kind, loving, honest person who was always fun to spend time with. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
To dear Bob, Brandon and Victoria, my deepest condolences to you at this very difficult time. Lynnette and I have been friends since we were 6 and we shared many wonderful memories of fantastic times together over those years. None better than our recent trip to Canada in 2019 to be with you all when Lynne first received her diagnosis. I will treasure those memories for the rest of my days. We had such a wonderful time together with you guys. So many laughs and a few tears.
I’m going to miss my dear friend enormously and our regular messages and calls. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Lynne during her illness. She spoke of how wonderful you all were often.
Lots of love to you all, Anne Davies xxxx

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lynnette. Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family.
Dear Bob and family, so sad to read the news of Lyn's passing. I was in Calgary in 2012 and caught up with Lyn for lunch where we shared memories and current news of Greensborough. A great memory to have of Lyn. Take Care ... Roland
Bob and Family: Sue and I wish to express our deepest sympathies and condolences on the passing of Lynnette. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult and challenging time. Bob I hope to see you soon, hopefully with skates and sticks!
Wishing you all the best
Tim and Sue Skinner
My deepest condolences to the Fong family and Irvine family. Lynnette was so proud of her family and loved you all. She was a good friend through our 20s and 30s and a good person to travel with. I enjoyed the many jaunts we had in Australia, Italy and Canada. She always had an iron and a hair dryer in her back pack so she could look her best. Always the fashion plate in her designer clothes and shoes, looking a million dollars. RIP lovey xx
Sorry to hear our school friend Lynnette has left this life. She packed a lot into her life. Great FB friend reaching out across the miles. Sending a big hug to her family
Bob, Brandon and Victoria: We are very sad to hear about Lynette. Our deepest sympathies to you all. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Darren, Karen, Amy, Noah and Duffy
Bob, Brandon, and Victoria there are no words to adequately describe the sorrow we feel at the loss of Lynnette. She was a treasured neighbor and friend. We will miss the driveway/front porch/kitchen conversations with her. Her outgoing personality, big smile and hearty laugh will be sorely missed. We had many a conversation about the goings on in the world and would vent about our pet peeve of the day. Her outlooks were always refreshingly honest. She cared deeply about her family and friends. Godspeed “lovey”. You will be remembered and missed by so many.

Condolences to the Fong family. We are deeply saddened with the loss. Lynnette left us way too soon.
My deep sympathy for you, Bob and Brandon and Victoria. Lynnette was a treasured friend, and I will sorely miss her. Her liveliness made everything we did together fun. I will always remember her fondly whenever I have a chilly Guinness at the James Joyce (Lynnette always insisted that hers be warmed up in a bath), or a festive drink at the pop-up Christmas bar. And I will always think of her with a smile.
When I first met Lynnette, I felt like I had known her forever. She had a zest for life, friends and family. Her exuberant conversations will be dearly missed. We enjoyed so many shared events over the years including birthdays, dance recitals, Stamps games and Christmas Eves, we often felt like we were family.
We wish to extend our sincere sympathies to Bob, Brandon and Victoria at this very sad time.
Condolences from Jill, Dean , Stuart, Alex and Chelsea Howell-Fellows
Lynnette and I had a standing Monday/Wednesday walk and coffee date. The memories of good conversation, lots of laughs and occasionally sneaking a shot of ‘Oh be joyful’ into our coffee will always be with me.
Our lives will forever be better because Lynnette was part of it. We were beyond lucky to know her and call her our friend. Hugs to Bob, Brandon and Victoria, you have our deepest sympathies.
