Sandra Bertoni passed away on Monday, April 5th, 2021, in Calgary, AB, surrounded by her family.

Sandra was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied to become a certified translator. True to her free-spirited and curious nature, she came to Canada, where she worked as a translator and eventually met her husband, Martin. Together they created a life in Calgary. She was a loving mother who gave her son incredible experiences and memories.

Sandra was also a beloved friend and aunt. A social butterfly that could make anyone feel special. Her infectious laugh and her ability to make people feel at ease and comfortable will be remembered by everyone she met. She could strike up a conversation with anyone and always lived in the moment. Sandra had an unmatched vigour for life, and this could be seen whether she was in her garden, exercising, playing tennis, dancing, learning a new language, or soaking up the sun across the world.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband Martin, her son Sebastian, her mother Beba, her brothers, Daniel and Marcelo; and her countless nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will occur on Friday, May 28th, 2021. More details will be provided at a later date.
