Sandy & Family,
We're heartbroken that you have lost the LOVE of your life! Al was one of the Great Guys and we will miss all his cheeky comments and the cool way he managed to handle any sticky situation wether at work or the delicate situations with all the daughters!!
What the two of you shared was truly something special. Al shared so much of his life with you and he will forever be with you!.
We will all miss your "Mister"!

Sandy, so sorry to hear of Al's passing. Al was one of the first persons I met after moving to Calgary in 1970. I considered him a true friend and mentor during our times together at SAIT and careers in the Oil Patch. Our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Sandy, I was so shocked to see Al's photo in the paper this morning, and can only imagine the pain and grief you must be feeling. Although I haven't seen you two since I moved to Calgary, I've enjoyed following a bit of your life via Facebook. You and Al always struck me as such a perfect couple, with your love of cooking, the outdoors, golf, etc., and your deep love of each other.
I hope you have the support that you will need in the months ahead. You have been such a wonderful partner to 'your Mr'!
