Condolences
I always remember the smiles and laughter of being around my Aunt Marie. In the early 1960's Aunt Marie made a visit to our farm in Vermilion. I remember going with her into town to look at cars as she was in the market for a new one and by one I mean only one. It had to be a Chevy Acadian! Aunt Marie thought our small town dealer would be a good choice to try and get a good deal (Friesen blood evident). Well the dealer thought this would be an easy sale to a women. Little did he know our Aunt Marie! In the end he refused her offer and we proceeded to leave. On the way out the door he came back with a counter offer but it was too late! Aunt Marie had already decided and that was that. I do look forward to seeing her again in Jehovah's new system, seeing the sparkle in her eyes and that huge smile.
We have so many good memories of Aunt Marie. I suppose one of the biggest thing that comes to mind is her caring and her infectious laughter. I remember one time she came out to help Dad, (her brother, Harold) in the meat house. They were making sausage, and weiners and macaroni and cheese loaf. She was very energetic and eager to get it done. Finally Dad said he had to send her to town on an errand so he would have a chance to sit down for a coffee. Aunt Marie spent many hours helping when Dad got sick and many hours encouraging all of us with her pioneer spirit.. We look so much forward to seeing her healthy and no doubt filled with laughter in the Paradise that will soon be here.. Love to the family from Marlene and Dave Baryski
