Condolences
Dear Lynn and members of Bill's family:
Recently a few of us Air Force Brats connected virtually and have been so enjoying a series of "remember-when"s of our high school days in Cold Lake Alberta. Yesterday Judy (Killoran) showed us her yearbooks from 1964/65 of which Bill was the editor. We were saddened to hear from Judy via you of Bill's passing, but were happy to learn about his interesting, fulfilling, and loving life. We all "crushed" on Bill during those times, as 16-year old girls often do. Would love to hear from you, Lynn, to add to our happy memories! Warm regards from the AFBs: Dawn Cooper; Judy Killoran, Carol Kelley, Kay Fryers, and Jill Brind.
Condolences to Bill's precious family. He was so proud of all of you. Conversations with Bill could always make your day. So sorry for your loss.
Carrie
I had the pleasure of meeting Bill around a decade ago, and have nothing but the fondest memories over the time I was lucky enough to know him. Bill’s kind heart was ever present throughout the years, and his warm humour will be sorely missed.
He was so encouraging and compassionate, and I am so thankful I was able to share many of my own milestones with him - and even more so that I was able to witness his. A warm and welcoming Father-in-law, pal to the pups, and fantastic Grandpa, Bill was such a positive impact on all those in his life.
My most sincere condolences to his loving family and many friends; am so thankful for the memories.
Love, Jan

In the few times our paths had the fortune of crossing, Bill always showed me the utmost kindness, compassion, and respect. He will be sorely missed for the warm and gentle person he was.

Mr. Bill's past students in the Flow Cytometry department at FMC are saddened to hear of his passing. He made learning at SAIT so much fun with his unique way of teaching, humorous personality, and lots of interesting fun facts! We were so fortunate to have had him as our instructor. Our condolences to his family.
I was sorry to read of our cousin Bill's passing, unfortunately we lost touch over the years but have many good memories of fun times at Buffalo Lake and a visit to Hugh & Winn's home years ago in Cold Lake. I love the pictures of Bill especially in his younger days with his glasses and smile. Also good memories of times with Bill's grandparents, Anne and George and Bill being with them.
Sincere condolences to all of you.
Rae Gilbert (McTaggart)
SAIT's ALIVE (The Association of Retired and Former employees of SAIT and their spouses) extend their deepest sympathy.
My sincere condolences to Bill's family. He was a special man. He had a wacky sense of humor which kept us all laughing when we were around him. Rest in Peace Friend. You will be remembered and missed.
Epitaph On A Friend - Robert Burns
An honest man here lies at rest,
The friend of man, the friend of truth,
The friend of age, and guide of youth:
Few hearts like his, with virtue warm'd,
Few heads with knowledge so inform'd;
If there's another world, he lives in bliss;
Ellena Maillet
If there is none, he made the best of this.
