A memory of Dave going across the street to Ken and Audrey's just before Christmas a couple of years ago to drop off some cookies we had baked. Dave ended up chatting with Ken and Audrey for a few hours he says (I say longer) and had a few beers then got into the scotch and Ken had to take Dave downstairs to show off the Christmas decorations he was so proud of. The next morning was a slow one for both Ken and Dave as they both had a tough time shoveling the sidewalks. I told Dave next time I would take the cookies over. We will miss having Ken call us or stopping in to see how we are doing. Our condolences to Audrey and family for their loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone! Uncle Ken was the most kindness man a person could ever ask for . The love he shared for absolutely everyone will be so missed . The phone calls he made to Manitoba to check up on his nieces and nephews will never be forgotten! Love u forever Uncle! Bob and Luke and family !
My dad, the first man I have ever loved! I have learned so much from you, your kindness, your teasing and joking, your nicknames for so many, your strength to beat almost every challenge you were faced with. You have taught us how to love, work hard, have fun and mostly enjoy the people around us. If I had one wish it would be to give you a phone in heaven so I didn't have to miss my 8:00am phone calls. I am gonna miss you everyday dad, but I know you are at peace. Rest in Peace my love until we meet again.
Heather
My fondest memory of my dad is always being there for his family. Calling to check in, worrying if you were sick, offering to help if you needed anything. Hard working, always putting others before himself. I will miss his calls, his laughter, his presence. I will miss my Dad, May he Rest In Peace always XOXO
