Obituary of Charles (Chuck) Buford BARLOW

It is with great sadness that Chuck’s family announce his passing on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the age of 59 years.

Chuck was born in Calgary on March 30, 1962 and attended Henry Wise Wood High School. From there, he went to Pomona College in Claremont, California, graduating in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in geology.  In 1988, he earned his MBA from Rutgers University in New Jersey. After a few years in Washington, DC, he returned to Calgary to work in the family business. Chuck spent many years pursuing his passion for art. He was lucky enough to find his dream home and live in it for over twenty years. He was an active member of the Glencoe Club and served as a member of the Britannia Community Association. His many friends will miss his sense of humor and ability to make them laugh.

Chuck leaves behind his parents, Gerry and Charles and his twin brother David. He was predeceased by his sister Cheryl and brother Clinton.
