Condolences
Our condolences to all of your family & friends. I know that Gary’s greatest sorrow was leaving you all, but that his love & assurance of his Father made his transformation something to look forward to.
We were employed with Gary at Bowden Institution. Gary was well loved at work, a ready ear to listen, able to give practical advise when requested, sharing a fun story to ease tensions, all in his own quiet way. His smile was always at the ready. He was incredibly respected & loved at B.I., & is very missed.
Trevor & Tyler, you have also lost a mentor. Remember that there are many who share this void with you.
When I moved into the library, Gary would stop by to check on me, just as you two did. His visits made my day. I enjoyed watching many inmates calling out, “Hey, boss, how you doing,” or some version of that. They showed Gary their respect, too.
May God bless you all.
Dearest Fil, Trevor,Tyler and Travis,
Gary was one of the greatest men I had the pleasure of calling a friend. His family was everything to him and so many stories were shared over the many years we worked together. It was always a wonderful shift full of laughter and that beautiful smile of his. I always told him that I wished that He and Fil were my parents, I loved him so much! He was the man everyone respected and loved. May he Rest In Peace. My heart goes out to the entire Parenteau family. He will be missed.
Dear Fel,
We are so very sorry for your loss! Every time we look at the fireplace in the back yard we are reminded of the many nights we laughed and sang! May he Rest In Peace!
Rick & Maureen
Dear FEL,
TREVOR, TRAVIS, TYLER & Family,
So very sad to hear of your loved one’s passing.
The friendship we came to know through Gary’s minor hockey coaching days in Martensville will always remain a Blessing!
His honest, generous ways, and always “ready with a smile” disposition, tell of the good person he really was.
Gary will be dearly missed, but respectfully remembered!
With many kind thoughts & deepest sympathy,
Murray & Sylvia Maximuk
