Condolences
Dear Bonnie, Carmen, Andrea and all the Oliphant family,
We were so sorry to hear of David’s passing. We shared many happy times with Jan and Dave. They were both such wonderful people! We were pleased to be able to attend your lovely service remotely.
Our heartfelt sympathies.
Anne and Paul Armstrong
Sorry for your loss. We were so grateful of David visiting Dad, his cousin Rick, when he was in Foothills. David was more than willing to help with anything we needed. His supportive and kind demeanor helped us with a difficult time. Forever thankful
Our thoughts and condolences to all your families. Dave was one of my first Managers in 1988 and I so enjoyed working in his group. He was quick with a smile for everyone. A few weeks ago, we were remembering camping with Dave, Janet and daughters at Mara Lake. I’m grateful to have spent some time with this wonderful couple and family and to have some memories to hold onto. Take care all of you.
Sincerely, Tim and Rochelle Bliek
Andrea, Bonnie, Carmen, Mrs. Oliphant, Donna, and Bev, May I offer my deepest condolences to all of you.
I first met Dave in our teen years when he auditioned for our band, Unknown Origin, We became close friends quickly.
I had lunch with Dave a few years back. We caught up and reminisced for a few hours, re-living years past. It was a good time back then.
We'll meet again on some bright highway, with songs to sing and tales to tell; (Steve Earle - Pilgrim)

Sending our condolences from our family to yours. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Bonnie, Carmen, Andrea, Scott and Aston – I can only say how sorry I am for your loss. Dave was an amazing man and he loved you dearly. Harriet and myself have great memories with Dave and Jan, ….the parties, the camping trips, the suppers, the golf games, and most especially the great conversations. I lived with Dave in Beddington when I first moved to Calgary when we were both single and I will always remember the laughter. Dave had a sense of humor that encompassed everyone around him and he was thoughtful and caring for so many. The years may fade our memories, they dim the things that are unimportant, but one thing that will never fade is the special memories and happy days that were spent with Dave. We will truly miss you.
God Bless you all – John and Harriet Paul
