My Papa Scott great man kind and so accepting. Been friends with Leanne for over 25 years. The whole family welcomed me with open arms. Included in family dinners and to sit in kitchen as Mama Scott gave me a Tony perm. He was always there laughing and and smiling as we all as women talked our faces off. I'm a bit of a wild child with my outfits and dancing. He just always made me feel loved and never made me feel anything but perfect with the way I was. Leanne and I had wonderful trip to Hawaii and I was one hell of a hula hooper. He called me his hula baby. So I was and will forever be his hula baby. I was raised by a single mother. So for that reason not had much of a positive male influence in my life. He truly was that that to me and will forever grateful. I was so loved by the whole family that I was comfortable to call Leanne's parents Mama and Papa Scott and will forever more. Shannon also was so wonderful to me had wonderful dinners and some girl over night trips. I'm just sadden deeply of Papa Scott's passing and send all my love to the whole family for their loss. Your Hula Baby... rest in peace

Wayne was one of my favourites and not just because he always brought me candy when I was a kid. He truly was one of the best. He had the most amazing laugh and his smile was always warm and kind. Wayne knew I loved country music as much as him and so he gave our family pre-recorded tapes of “Saturday Night Gold” country count downs he recorded from the radio. Not only where there boxes and boxes of organized tapes but binders of who was on those tapes and song titles. It’s fully because of Wayne that I know everyone word to ‘Delta Dawn’ and also why I am a champion at Name that Tune of. It was like each binder and box was a lesson. It’s also because of Wayne that my 3 kids know all the words to “Country Roads” and “ TROUBLE”. Thank you Wayne for giving me and family such a gift to continue one. You will be missed so very much. Wayne will always be remembered by our family for his amazing laugh, as an adoring country music fan and the fun camping adventures together. We were neighbors at our homes in Claresholm as well as neighbors side by side at work for years. For over 30 years we would get together for a feast with our families at Christmas to share stories and laughs. Sandra and Wayne were amazing Godparents to our daughter and dear friends to our family. We will forever remember Wayne, and all the journeys in life we went through together. Our condolences go out to Sandra, Leanne, Shannon and their families.
