Sue was a former colleague at the University of Calgary Library. I always appreciated Sue's knowledge of library acquisitions and was ever grateful for her honesty and forthrightness . Between Sue and the late Leslie Potter, if you had any questions about dogs, or acquiring an animal as a pet in general, you knew they were the people to ask! My condolences go to her entire family and friends.
My huge condolences to Susan's family. Susan & I were good friends since about 1977 when I first began helping out with the AKC Show Secretary duties by spending many hours typing (no computers then) schedules, catalogue pages, etc. down in her basement. To the end I would call her when I needed information. We talked often and I will miss her friendship forever.
I met Sue 5 or 6 years ago. We connected through a mutual friend. We shared a love of dogs but also spent many hours discussing everything from racing to gardens to almost anything. Sue is one of the most interesting women I have ever met, I will miss our visits so much.
Her love of family and friends was very evident in all of our visits. Bobbi, she spoke highly of you often. Her grandson Alex was an amazing support to her. Erik was spoken of often and Sue was so very thankful for his visit during covid.
My condolences to all of her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered by so very many people.
Susan was a treasured friend, as well as a former long-time colleague at the University Library. We had many a laugh together over the years. I loved it in meetings when she would state, in transparent sincerity, "But that doesn't make any sense!" After she retired she asked if she could be an honourary 'auntie' to our wee daughters, whom she wanted to spoil. [and she did!] We shall miss our visits very much. Condolences to her entire family & wide circle of friends. We've all lost a good 'un!

My condolences to the family and friends of Susan. She will long be remembered by various groups but especially through her dog friends. The Nasusa kennel name is well known and some of us have been able to share the bloodline. I hope we are able to have a gathering at some dog function to share memories. RIP Susan.
