Condolences
My heartfelt condolences to Eric's family. I met Eric at North Calgary Dental Office in 1985 and remained friends with him throughout the years and the many offices I worked in and he visited. Eric was one of the most incredible kind, helpful and funny people I have ever known and could always bring a smile to your heart. His kindness and generosity will be remembered around the world by the many people who's lives he touched.
Will miss you and love you always.

Sorry to hear the sad news. Eric and I had known each other for 10+ years. I enjoyed our conversations on how to make the world a better place! He was a huge supporter of our dental missions and causes. I remember talking to him about his clean water initiative ideas. We will all miss him at Creekside. Thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My Mom and I miss you, Eric.
You're gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Eric, you are incredible, kind and helpful to those people who are in need. I knew Eric through my Mom. My Mom worked with Eric for more than 10 years ( since 2010). I started looking after him when he had his surgery , since then he treated us like his family. We ate together, we cooked together, we laughed together and he never treated us a servants. We respect him as a good employer and a friend at the same time. We're so grateful to him. We love you and miss you, Eric
Our deepest sympathy for the family.”Rest and Peace Eric “

My sincerest condolences to Eric's family. I also met Eric through RESULTS in Calgary. I remember his thoughtful critiques of development, based on research, consideration and experience. I will definitely miss his crazy laugh! It really was infectious.
Our whole family will miss Eric dearly. He took pride in how he was raised by his family, and always spoke on the importance of character and standing up for your values and beliefs. He was also very well informed on current issues around the world and would always share his words of wisdom with us.
Not a day would go by where he wouldn't call, and we will really miss those daily conversations.
We met Eric almost 10 years ago, with me helping his business with financial reports and consultations. Robin was first hired by Eric as a company courier a couple of years after. They soon developed a personal relationship after spending a lot of time together, to the point where Robin also became his personal companion, aiding him with groceries, household chores, medical and business appointments, etc.
He was an extremely kind hearted person. Always seeing the best in people, he was not only generous to our family but also to others all over the world.
We love you Eric, we miss you, and we will never forget you.

We remember Eric from being involved with RESULTS and his dedication to attending meetings and writing letters. For a few years we assisted him with accounting for his business and managing his papers which seemed to get away on him some times. We shared many meals with Eric and especially loved his kulfi dessert. He was a good and kind person who cared about people and the planet.

Eric was one of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever met. He was a prolific reader and liked both secular and religious books and he would quote passages from the Bible. I met Eric in the late 1980s at a Results meeting in Calgary and found that while we were living in Karachi, we had several common friends. Right from the beginning I liked Eric for his open mind and his concern for those less fortunate. He introduced me to the work of Lutheran Relief in drilling for water wells in Africa and I would tell him about the girls’ education in Afghanistan/Pakistan. Eric funded many of our projects for Clean Water and food rations in Pakistan. Eric was much admired by all who knew him. Derry and I will very much miss his company and the lively discussions we shared on American politics and Global warming.

I knew Eric through his great work with Results Canada. He worked tirelessly with this organization giving his time and material resources. We used to have long conversation regarding social and political issues, with a slant towards social equity and consciousness. I will miss our conversations. Rest In Peace my friend.

We would like to extend our sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of Eric Cordeiro. Eric was a good and sincere friend of ours for many years in Calgary, AB. We will remember Eric for his passionate championing of the underdogs of the world, his dedication to fighting social injustice and his generosity when contributing to numerous charitable causes. He was a humble, frugal man who lived simply and cared deeply for those less fortunate. Eric was always grateful for the vegetarian home cooked meals we often specially prepared for him. He was an astute businessman, entrepreneur and world traveler. He was scholarly, knowledgeable and a voracious reader. We will fondly remember Eric for his spirited political debates, as he was never reticent to share his well researched opinions on current events and politicians. He was indeed an honorable, decent gentleman who will be missed. Eric made the world a better place.
