Obituary of Eric Leonard CORDEIRO

March 9, 1939 – May 22, 2021 

It is with sadness that the family of Eric Leonard Cordeiro announces his passing on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 82, in Calgary, Alberta.

Eric was a great humanitarian and supported many charitable causes in his life; he had a great sense of humour and had a hearty and infectious laugh. 

Eric is survived by his oldest brother Roland Cordeiro of Toronto, Ontario, and his youngest sister Philomena Fernandes (nee Cordeiro) of Toronto, Ontario. He also leaves behind seven nieces and nephews, Noella Monteiro of Honolulu, Hawaii, Gavin Moneteiro of Calgary, Alberta, Natalie D’Souza of Calgary, Alberta, Marcia Cordeiro of Toronto, Ontario, Renard Cordeiro of Toronto, Ontario, Raina Fernandes of Toronto, Ontario, and Natasha Fernandes of Toronto, Ontario; he is also survived by numerous grand-nephews and nieces in Calgary and Toronto.

Eric was predeceased by his parents, Percival and Mary Cordeiro; his oldest sister Jeanne Monteiro (nee Cordeiro); his younger brother Bernard Cordeiro; and his nephew Keith Monteiro.
