Obituary of David BOONE

November 1, 1939 – Sheffield, England
May 21, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

David beloved husband of Margaret Boone (nee Harrison) of Calgary AB, passed away on Friday May 21, 2021 at the age of 81 years

David, Margaret, Catherine & Stephen emigrated from Sheffield to Calgary in April 1981.  David & Margaret joined the congregation at Midlands United Church in 1981 and later joined Red Deer Lake United Church where they have made many lifelong friends.
David’s favorite hobby was making stained glass, he made windows which are in Red Deer Lake United Church & many family & friends have a piece of his work hanging in their homes.

Besides Margaret he is survived by his daughter Catherine and her husband Martyn, Son Stephen and his wife Leanna; grandsons Michael, Tyler & Thomas & great-grandson Aidan.

David is predeceased by his Father John, Mother Ivy & Sister Margaret.

The family would like to thank the nurses & staff at Swan Evergreen for the special attention Dave received.

A Private Funeral Service will be held on, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to join Mr. Boone’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service.
