We have so many pleasant memories of being with the Thormoset family over the years. We first met in summer 1999 when we traveled to Cameroun to visit David's sister, Barb, and husband, Charlie Bunk. One afternoon we all visited the Thormoset family at their home in Cameroun. The Bunk children (Angela & Leah) and the Thormoset children (Andreas, Nathan, Stefan & Sonya) had all become friends. Little did we know then that the marriage of Nathan Thormoset and Leah Bunk would keep us all wonderfully connected for years to come. When Henny and David briefly lived in Edmonton and when Sonya was a student at the University of Alberta, we connected regularly. And there were family weddings and baptism celebrations. And there were occasional reconnections in Invermere or Radium, BC, new "happy places" for our family but long time places to love in the Thormoset family. This photo was enclosed in the anniversary card that Henny and David brought to our 40th wedding anniversary celebration in Edmonton in 2012. Henny was a gentle, caring soul whose time on earth will be measured as far greater than her actual number of years with all of us. She will live on in so many ways through those she touched due to her vocational calling and those with whom she had deep connections as friends and family. We send love and caring thoughts to all who will miss Henny's presence in their lives. Blessings, Joanne & David Olson, Edmonton, Alberta
