Condolences
A truer friend and motorcycle riding buddy could not be found. Some of the best times of my life were spent on the road with Kent , and yes , the happy hours just might have been the best part.

Many a great day touring on our motorcycles with Kent, with great stories after over some rum and the odd rusty nail. Truly a grand gentleman, he will be missed but long remembered.

My condolences to Sam’s family. I also worked with him at the Electric System/ENMAX - lots of great memories. Rest In Peace Sam.

Oh Brad and Heather... I am so sorry for your loss. I will remember Kent as kind, generous, forgiving and- trouble. Haha. I never needed “just one more”. But I will always be grateful for the suggestion from your dad because it led to great conversations and the sound of his sly laugh. I hope you’re memories bring you comfort in your saddest time. Loving you all.
So sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. We both worked for Manitoba Hydro and the City of Calgary/Enmax. We played hockey together with the Enmax team and Sam was an exceptional teammate. In the early 70’s we shared a few beverages at the home of Brian & Vel Doubleday in Ogden with friend John Morton. In 2013 I did a motorcycle trip thru BC and managed to stop in and have lunch with Sam in Panorama. It was great to see him again since we had both been retired for a number of years. Rest In Peace Sam, you will be missed. You truly were one of the good guys.

What to say about this man, great friend, no a great family member. For as long as I can remember from the 60's and beyond he was always there from camping to Barbie and Sam at every birthday for 20 years I knew he would always be in my family's life. I so many great memories of a great man how could I pick. I will miss him and can't be sad because he will forever be in my heart and mine. Have a wee dram of Scotch for me.
