Condolences
Bob had a great sense of humor whenever I worked with him. Course.....coming from Newfoundland, you better have a good sense of humor! I remember a story of Mike A and Bob going on a coffee run. It still makes me laugh.
RIP
Bob D.
My condolences to the friends and family of my good pal Fitzy. Myself, like the other lads, worked with Big Bobby for 7.5 years at TCPL. He was always fun to work with and kept you on your toes with his sharp wit. I had lost touch with him over the last few years but recall having a couple of breakfasts with him at Ricky's All Day Grill back a few years ago. Bob never failed to make me laugh about something. He just had that way about him, he smiled easily and almost always seemed happy. He was an awesome Gas Controller who was one of many great controllers who showed me the ropes at Trans Canada back in 1992. My prayers will be for the family and friends of Bob. He is reunited with Connie now. Hopefully we will cross paths again in the future Bob. May God bless you all.
You will be missed Bob and will never forget your jovial personality.
It was a pleasure to work with you at TransCanada for many years and appreciate the
advice and help you always were willing to share. We will miss your laugh and the
fun we had in the lunchroom and when we had breakfasts together with the guys
May God Bless your family at this time and may you rest in Peace Bob.

Rest in peace my friend. I just found out today of his passing. It was always fun working with Bob. He had a way of making the night shift go by much faster with his zest for life. I was lucky enough to attend one of the last retiree breakfasts with him. At the time I had not seen him for a few years but it was nice to see the same old Bob.
My sympathy to the family
I knew Bob for several years and yes he always was a cheery fellow.
I was a colleague of his at TransCanada.
He enjoyed life to the fullest and in his retirement, he was a faithful member to always attend the retiree's breakfast
club, that I organized after I too retired in 2009 as someplace for us all to keep in touch.
From myself, and all your friends that you knew from TransCanada
Rest in Peace Bob

Rest in Peace Bob. Thanks for many many nights of Euchre, laughter, holiday meals, and being our Calgary family when we didn't really have one here. Your home was where Ana and I found some respite from some challenges thrown our way, and where our kids always felt welcome. Andy and Gordon, stay safe and healthy, and I am so sorry for your loss.
Genny, Don, Kathleen and Michael, So sorry to hear of Robert's passing. It's hard enough when parents die , but that's expected. It's so much more difficult when you lose a sibling. Our sincere sympathy to you and all his family. God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Regina and Jim McCarthy
