Condolences
Tracy and Family
Tracy, I had the pleasure of working with your father for many years and he is a person that I, and so many others, learned so much from. Not only for fire fighting but for his kind and caring ways and the respect and compassion that he showed to everyone. He had a great passion for the job and his family and that was infectious to all who worked with him. He will be greatly missed. (I even learned to like cream corn)
Tracy, Jamie, Ali and Kevin
We are so very sorry for the loss of your Dad, Friend, Granddad and a very special man to all of us.
Our thoughts are with as you take the time to remember all of the wonderful moments you had with him. We hope these memories comfort you during this time.
One of the first guys I worked with when I joined the fire dept. learned a lot from Jim. Very fine man .very professional. So long Jim
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Retired Captain Page. He was one of my officers as a young fire fighter with the CFD and I was always impressed with his kindness and passion for what ever he was doing. He will be missed.
On behalf of Fire Chief, Steve Dongworth and all members of the Calgary Fire Department, please accept deepest sympathies for your loss. There are many of us here that remember him still. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Our sincere condolences go out to the Family on the passing of “Brother” Jim.
My prayers and love go out to the family’s. I have very fond memories of Uncle Jim when I was a child. Never heard him raise his voice, always a smile on his face and such a great sense of humour. I kind of thought of him as a hero because he was a fireman that saved lives. May his spirit live on in a new world!!
Dear Tracy & Family,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. Your parents were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Please know my thoughts are with you all in this difficult time.
Love Drinda (Miller) Rainville
My parents are Ken & Kathie Miller & my mom used to babysit you when you were really little. You were the sweetest. oxo
I, and many other Paramedics and Fire Fighters, will always remember Captain Jim and his professionalism. He was always there to help and lead in a quiet way.
His love of “cream corn” was legendary and was served with most fire hall meals.
Jim was an incredible man and always treated people with kindness, dignity, and respect. The world is truly a darker place without him.
Rest easy, Jim – say hi to Helen for us.
Tracy and Jamie, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing. He was such a nice gentleman every time I got to talk to him when he came to visit you in Saint John. I know you have lots of great memories of him and your Mom. They will be together now looking over you and your family. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Lori and Danny
