Condolences
June 15 comes around again, and I am reminded of that sad day when you passed away. It has been three years and you are missed everyday. Lucy‘s doing fine. She had a pigeon problem over there, but I helped her take care of it. Things are good now. Still missing your smile and chat my friend. But keeping your memory alive in my heart.
Remembering you today my dear friend Joe! It has been two years now since you left our neighborhood. Your spirit will live on here forever!
Your are missed!

My Dear Friend Joe!
It has been one year since you’ve been gone! I still miss your presence in your garden when I look out my kitchen window! Everything looks great at your home front and back due to a wonderful landscaper that comes every Sunday without fail! You are missed and remembered everyday Joe, By me your friend and neighbor Sandi Gordey!
Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength. Words can't begin to express the sympathy I feel for you on the passing of Uncle Joe, I have so many fond memories of him. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
We were saddened to hear of the loss Joe. He was always such a happy person when we saw him. We send our deepest condolences to the whole family.

To my Dear Friend and neighbour Joe! I watched you year after year out my kitchen window as you planted, watered, nurtured and harvested your garden, your last one being planted just last month, which is all ready 8 inches high by the way! Whenever I left town you offered to water my flowers and everything always looked perfect when I returned. I will miss our humorous chats when you passed by to get the mail. I could always feel your presence when I was standing on my 30 foot ladder putting Christmas lights on my tree, reaching for that magpie nest or standing on my garage roof washing windows. I would glance down and see you shaking your head muttering “one day your going to break your neck”. I would smile and wave. I knew I could count on you to call 911. When snow fall came I would try to beat you outside to shovel that sidewalk but you were always one step ahead and have yours and both Neighbors on each side including mine already done! You were a true delight Joe to have as a Neighbor. For many many years you brightened my day with your smile and your big friendly wave. But on Friday June 11, it all came to an end. As I watched you come out of your house to get on to the ambulance stretcher, you spotted me and for the last time you gave that big smile and wave. Our neighbourhood has suffered a great loss, but Heaven has gained a true Angel as you now do all your planting in Gods garden of Love. I will miss you Joe and always treasure your friendship!
To Lucy, Claudio, Sandra and family, I am so sorry for your loss. You have lost a great man and are left with great sadness. Cling to the memories of him and let them find a way to heal you. You were blessed to have such a precious gift of love in your life. With Deepest Sympathy … Sandi Gordey .
Joe was a friend of my father's, Tony Valerio. They worked/played together at the Calgary Italian Cultural Centre. I have been very lucky in getting to know Joe from the CICC over the last 15+ years. At Bingo, he used to call me "Curley", probably because he couldn't remember my name, but I loved it when he called me that. He was always smiling and happy, always eager to help out and lend a hand. I know the CICC will miss him and I will miss him even more. My sincere condolences to Joe's family. You already know this, but I will tell you anyway, Joe was a very special man and they broke the mold when he was built! Rest in peace Joe!
My deepest condolences to the Ferronato family. I have always enjoyed Joe’s company while playing bocce and also volunteering for Bingo, he was polite, kind and loving I will miss him !!!!
Dear Lucia, Claudio, Sandra and all the Ferronato family. My sincere condolences on the passing of Joe he was a wonderful man and I have fond memories of him. God bless you all during this difficult time.

Cara Lucia and family. Our deepest condolences on Joe’s passing. May peace and happy memories be with you. I will always remember his smile and happy greeting. One time at the Italian Club he came right up to our table without hesitation and greeted Ric McIver, sat down to greet me with a little slap on my face. Then he was off to his next destination. Many fond memories to cherish. Hugs and love ❤️
Rose Lamoureux and family.
