Condolences
Sincere sympathy and condolences to Joe's family. I was a classmate of Joe's in the 1st. class of Petroleum Technology at
SAIT, from 1959 to graduation in 1961. We used to see each other occasionally in downtown Calgary after that, working in
the "Patch". Interesting to know he had a Passion for Sailing, same as myself. Perhaps from growing up on the Prairies!
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Richard Bailey.
Dear Dave and Marla, and all your family - we are so sorry for this great loss. We continue to hold you close in our hearts as you trudge through these difficult, emotionally draining weeks. May there be many small blessings to comfort your souls and help you find a path through the sorrow. With love, Dwight and Elaine.
Dear family, thinking of you in these sad days. I miss Joe and our email conversations. We have all bright and nice memories of Joe. He was our oldest cousin.
May he rest in peace. /Inger
My condolences to Joe's family. We haven't been in touch lately but I have special memories of the Lundquist family in our Rainbow Lake days, many years ago. I'm so sorry for your loss and wish you comfort and strength.

It doesn't surprise me at all that Joe will be dearly missed by his friends and family. He was a kind man and his generosity did not go unnoticed. I'm honoured to have met and worked with him over the past few years, helping out with his property in BC. I so looked forward to our, once a year, in person meeting, when Joe and Margie would come out to BC. Joe often had reassuring words for me when I would get twisted out of shape about some injustice that we would be dealing with. He would say, It's not worth it. Let It Go.... And he was always right. He will also be missed in Victoria.
We miss Joe very much. He was our link to the canadian family. We had a wonderful trip on english canals some years ago and he was s fantastic host when we visited Canada in 2018. 2017 he and Margie visited Sweden and we were trawelling around in Sweden and in Finland. Seeing old family places and meeting family in Sweden and Finland. RIP.
