Condolences
My sincere condolences to Nancy and Janice and your families. I remember going to your house in Schumacher where your mother always gave us a cheerful greeting. Those are good memories. I pray that the memories you hold dear will bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Janice, Nancy and family,
My condolences to all of you at this time. I remember your mother while growing up on Birch Street in Schumacher and gathering at the Croatian Hall. It sounds like she had a very full life and so good that she could be near you in Calgary.

My Aunt Mary was a special person in my life and much loved. There are too many memories to share them here but certain things stick out. I remember , as a child, her teaching me how to count in Croatian and being a junior flower girl at her wedding. As a teenager, I remember her making wonderful food and giving me heck for dropping Bobby pins all over the house when I would stay with her and her family in Schumacher. As an adult, going to the Casino with her and her teaching me how to play poker on the machines was so much fun. She loved life.
I will miss her as I know her beloved “girls” and grandchildren will. Our hearts go out to you all
With much love
Gail and Jim
You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time. Mary was a wonderful Mother, and a good friend to so many. Thinking of you with all our Love from Marvin, and Donna McConnell.
I know that Mary held a special place in her heart for her nephew, George.
I only met Mary later after she had retired. I think of her as being full of fun. The last time we were in Calgary, we enjoyed a BBQ with Michael, Justine, Janice and ,of course Mary. She looked radiant..I loved her hair style !
Now Mary rests with her family...we can'.t be a part of that family, but we'll be with this family.
Sweet sleep, Mary
Baba was an amazing woman, I will miss her dearly. My fondest memories are from our Calgary Herald hockey pools, James Bond movies, lunches at Moxies, and sleepovers. She was so vibrant and full of life, Rest in Peace rejoined with your Mirko.
Mary was a great friend and I will miss her. Enjoyed the trips we took and the time spent together. She shared many stories of her parents, brothers, growing up and raising a family in northern Ontario. She loved her Croatian roots and enjoyed sharing them with me and my parents. My condolences to the family and friends. Maria Matijevic
