Condolences
Dear John and Family: Milt and I were saddened to hear about Edna’s death and wish to pass on a big hug to you all. We met Edna playing duplicate bridge and could not find a better person both inside and outside with a gorgeous smile that would light up the room. I am sure your family will miss here a lot especially John, as who will keep him in line. She had a wicked sense of humour and always made us laugh. I will think of her often when we are able to return to the tables to play duplicate bridge which she loved. Our deepest sympathy to you all.

Dear Jean - I am so very sad to learn of your mom's passing. Edna was such a warm, kind and compassionate person - as you say "mom" to many!
We were connected through Badminton - Edna and I played in ladders, and my son Greg joined the competitive team when he was quite young. I remember his first out of town tourney was down east, and as I was unable to accompany him, your mom assured me she would take care of him! She was so kind and sincere, I just knew that she meant it.
I loved that "twinkle" in her eye, that warm and wonderful smile that lit up her entire face, and her sense of humour! From the moment I met your mom, I knew I would always have a very special place in my heart for her.
All the Gosbee families, our club and the Calgary communities where Edna lived and served have lost a very beautiful soul. May she rest in peace.
Treasure all those beautiful memories of your wonderful mom!
My sincere condolences to you, your Dad and all the Gosbee families.

We were so sorry to hear about Edna. She was such a wonderful person. She loved bringing us up to date with all the activities of the grandchildren. She was so proud of them. We will miss her tricky serves at badminton.

Memories …. Are precious.
Memories began at Montague High.
Memories of family BBQ’s at our home in Stratford, of the Harbour and of lobster.
Memories of your garden, on your deck, in your dining room in Calgary with scrumptious food, at the Chinook Mall.
Memories of road trips, the Cabot Trail, Peggy’s Cove … E&J and E&J.
Memories of your generosity to our son and his wife when they moved to Calgary. You took over from me as his “Mom”.
Memories of being a “grandmother” to my grandkids when I was too far away in PEI.
Memories too many to count. The memories and you, Edna, will be forever in my heart. My “almost sister”.
Memories sustain us, comfort us, and transport us back in time.
Until we meet again … “Save me a seat!” Rest In Peace.

I was so sorry to hear about Edna. I played bridge with her and she was always so lovely and so kind, and we will miss her very much. Edna was always interesting, bright and engaged, and always interested in everyone personally. She was a lovely bridge player, too, and we'll miss her. I wish her family well, and my condolences at the loss of your wife and mother and grandmother. Yours sincerely, Pat Anderson
