Obituary of Khrys Jayne Tamondong BALCITA

July 18, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Khrys Jayne Balcita, beloved daughter of Jane and Redemptor Balcita, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the age of 23 years.

Khrys was born in Pangasinan, Philippines on March 31, 1998. She moved to Airdrie, AB, in 2015. Khrys has accomplished much through her life, and was particularly proud of completing her Pharmacy Assistant Diploma at Cambrooks College, all while working at the same time. Khrys loved cooking, baking and exploring with her friends. She was very interested with entrepreneurial pursuits, and dreamed of being a successful businesswoman someday. Her most memorable vacation was visiting the Northern cities of the Philippines, as well as the different scenic spots in Canada, especially its mountainous region.

She will be most remembered for her positive outlook in life and vibrant personality. She was trustworthy, reliable, a social butterfly, a dreamer and a goal getter. She was the life of the party, great model, a loving sister and daughter and a great friend.

Khrys is survived by her mother Jane, father Kokoy, her brother Jhan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive, Airdrie, AB) on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, and Sunday, July 25, 2021, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 2:00pm. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed here.
