Condolences
Harvey and Brenda Walsh. If Barbara had not married Bob, Brenda and I would not have had our first date and all the years of happiness that has resulted from that date. Bob, you and Barbara were a team from the time you met in university and this will continue now in spirit. You and Barbara made many wonderful memories and we hope that those memories will be the light that guides and comforts you and your family as you move forward.
Oh, dear sister! I will miss you so very much. Though time and distance kept us apart more than we liked, I will always cherish our times together - the laughter, the tears, the debates, the hugs. Growing up, even though I could be a brat, your love was unconditional and you always had my back. My love to Bob, Henry and Laura, Andrea and Michelle, Cliff, Gabi and the little ones. May Barbara’s love and fighting spirit be with you always.
Bob,
We are so so sorry for the loss of Barbara. We were so honoured to have so many memories from our Christmas eves to our train car adventures and everything in between.
Please give us the honour of helping you if there is anything we can do. Even sharing a cup of coffee or a walk, when you are ready.

Barbara, although slight in stature, had the fight of a giant. I was fortunate to have met Barbra a few years ago first at a Lung Cancer seminar in Calgary. Upon meeting her, I was instantly captivated by her fight and bravado. She could instantly light up a room with just her smile. Barbara always portrayed a positive and uplifting attitude, quickly placing her support and care of others above her own. I am saddened to hear the battle she fought so bravely, had taken her.
She was an amazing women that provided me and my family strength during our own family’s battle with lung cancer. She will sadly be missed by those who had the opportunity to know her as a friend and lively cancer advocate, but Barbara will never be forgotten. My sincere condolences to Bob and the family.

All our prayers and strengths to Barbara's family. I had the pleasure of meeting Barbara and Bob when they came over to my home to adopt Ginger. When she walked in she lightened up the home and ginger went right for her and Bob just knowing this was home. We have had many talks over the years and they both have kept my family in there's with the most wonderful Christmas cards and pictures. Through the years we have felt so honored to have met them and have been able to continue on our friendship. We were blessed with a visit a few months back with Ginger and the other pups in tow, it was so wonderful seeing our little girl and Barbara and Bob again. We had such a great time filled with laughter and tears and some wonderful stories that will always be remembered. We will always be here for you Bob for anything we can do just to make your days a little easier. I can't thank you enough for keeping us apart of your lives and am so heart broken that this happened. From my family and the entire family at AARCS we wish you all the love and support and will always be here for anything you may need. She will be deeply missed.
Blessings.
My prayers and strength to Barbara's family. Her joy brought love and laughter to the Ukulele Strummers. Always willing to try. Blessings
I had the pleasure of meeting Barb through PALS and she will be deeply missed. My condolences goes out to Bob and the family. Barb was a very special person who lit up everyone (2 and 4 legged) live just talking to her. Rest In Peace.
I volunteered with Barb at Pals, she always lit up a room with her smile when she visited. She had a kind and giving soul. Her love of animals and people who were hurting was genuine. She was always engaged in conversation and a warm light seemed to follow her and touch the people she visited. I will miss volunteering with you my sweet girl. RIP Barb. My condolences to Bob and family.
Barbara was a beautiful woman I only met last September. I loved her zest for life, her intelligence and cut and dried no nonsense communication. I wish I had more time with her because I truly enjoyed every moment I did have to know her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Bob. Love always. Stacey and Brad
