Condolences
We are so sorry and send our sincere sympathy to you David and Jeannie. We have so missed Peggy - and Art at our Thursday morning Bible studies these past years. They will both always be remembered fondly. Our love and thought are with you.

“We are soulmates” , Margot, my beloved Auntie Peggy, would say to me over and over again over the years. She was my sole Aunt. My beloved Mom, Frances Anna Gregg-nee Strachan -Scott was her only sibling and my father, David Alexander Noel Scott was an only child. Auntie Peggy - it’s so weird to see her listed as Margaret, her birth name, because she was always known as Peggy by everyone, was also my Godmother, my confidant, my most dedicated letter writer particularly during my years at boarding school, and during my years of study to become RN, my second mother. When I relocated my family to Canada on my own with 3 young children, and sponsored my husband at the time to join us, she and Arthur were a constant source of support as I navigated my way through unknown, scary territory to establish a new life stripped of the familiarity of a close circle of friends and family. I shall treasure the memory of precious time spent playing the guitar and singing old songs at her place of care in Calgary when two of my nursing colleagues accompanied me. Before we knew it, a gathering of fellow residents and staff had joined and were singing and clapping their hands, and wanting to continue. Auntie Peggy was right at my side, and by the time we finished, Carolyn and Joanne had acquired some new friends:) Alzheimer’s Disease and distance claimed Auntie Peggy’s final years away from me, but she always remained and always will remain in my heart. Rest In Peace, my darling Auntie Peggy, with all my love, your niece, goddaughter, soulmate, Margot. ❤️xoxoxoxoxo
