Not easy to lose someone so dear to a family...and it takes a particular strength and courage when it is a lifelong partner and father. Thinking of you during this time. Thanks for sharing the online service and the slide show memories. It was nice to be able to view, and "be there", despite the distance.
Quelle grande perte. Paul Heppelle, Kingston (ON)
Chère famille et ami(e)s, nos sympathies sinceres. Our sincere sympathies to everyone.
My sincere condolences to Carmen and family. I enjoyed many conversations with Louis while working at the NEB. We even discovered through these chats that we were actually distant relatives through the Piches. He will be remembered fondly. Ricki (Pratte) Boudreau
My sincere condolences, Carmen & family and the Morin family. Many of us will have memories of Louis, at the College as a fellow student, the great sportsman that he was (you definitely wanted him on your team!), as a supervisor at the College. May all the wonderful memories that you have of him give you some solace during this time. Paulette (Martin) Mitchell

My sincere condolences to you Carmen and to your family. As well, to the Morin and Allard families.
So sorry for your loss Carmen. My memories of Louis and you date back to high school. I knew then that Louis was a special person and that your relationship was something to admire. Losing the person you shared your life with cannot be easy. May you find strength in your family and friends to carry you through this difficult time. Thinking of you with sincere sympathy.

Carmen, Serge, Fabienne and Christian - so sorry to hear of Louis' passing. He certainly did have a "joie de vivre", and his laugh was infectious. Tough not to smile around him. Our thoughts are with you in these difficult times. Dave, Patty and Matt.

I will miss Louis so very much. Coming up those stairs and seeing Lois broad smile and outright joy of welcome was always an amazing thing to not only witness but to feel. He loved his family with every cell in his body. I will be forever grateful by the way he enveloped my daughter into his fold. Gentle, kind, wise, generous, persistent and strong beyond measure Lois was love personified. I just know it will hit me hard to pop my head over the top of those stairs, see his empty chair and miss his sincere smile of welcome. Rest In Peace Louis we will carry you in our hearts and minds forever. You were a good, good man.
