Obituary of Wade Everett Peters

July 5, 1961 – Edmonton, Alberta
August 18, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Wade Peters, beloved and devoted husband of Adela Peters (nee Martincevic), of Calgary, AB passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the age of 60 years.

Wade married his first and only sweetheart Adela in 1985.
    
Although born in the city, Wade had passion and respect for the land; a farmer’s soul and a mountain’s spirit. Living in Evergreen, Colorado and later their land in Water Valley were places of great joy for Wade.

In addition to his loving wife Adela, Wade is survived by his mother Claire Peters, brother Darin (Debbie) Peters and their children, Colton (Briana) and Mariah (Ben) Gleeson. As well as Adela’s family, Anne Martincevic, Angela Martincevic, Teresa Gibson (David) and their children Emily and James. Wade was predeceased by his father Don Peters.

A Private Memorial Service will be held, on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Those not in attendance are encouraged to join Wade’s service streamed live (see below). For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted for sixty days. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.

The Private Memorial Service will be followed by a ‘Wade Style’ gathering at Craft Beer Market, 345 10 Avenue SW, Calgary.

10:30 a.m. Saturday, please gather at the Water Valley property for Wade’s Final Send-Off followed by a BBQ.

Adela and the Family wish to thank the nurses, doctors, and all staff of the Adult Intensive Care Unit at the Foothills Medical Centre for Wade’s care.
