Pat and Family...Bev and I are absolutely shocked and saddened by Carrol's passing. We were unable to attend the Funeral Service but our thoughts and prayers were there with you. Our memories of Carrol are clear and vivid as we golfed back on those Sunday afternoons with a group of others and then shared a social dinner afterwards. We are so sorry for your loss, but you and your wonderful family can take hope in the wonderful legacy and memories she has left with everyone. You folks take care and we will see you again one day soon.....Jack and Beverley Mullins at Calgary
I am so deeply saddened by the loss of your mother and wife. Carrol was a sweet and gentle person and as I got to know her through working at various school activities, I came to like and respect her quiet dignity and grace. She raised her daughters to have that same sweet spirit. She was always a devoted mother and wife and her quiet dignity was always a great role model for me. I loved working on school committees with her. She brought intelligence and insight to every task. My deepest sympathies go to you Pat and to Nancy and Julie and Angela. She will be deeply missed.

Pat, the sudden and shocking loss of your Carrol is so hard to comprehend. Carrol was such a true and wonderful lady in every way, whose smile and kind demeanor were as genuine as they were beautiful. Our St. Patrick's Day parties at the James Joyce Pub were all the brighter because of Carrol and we will be forever grateful for those memories. She was so proud of the beautiful family that you and she created and we know that she is proudly watching you all from above.
Gord and I send all our love to you, the girls and their families.
Carrol was simply the best.

My condolences Pat to you and your family upon Carrol's passing.
Pat, Nancy, Julie and Angela, I was absolutely shocked by Carrol's sudden passing. So young and vibrant! Carrol and I met in fifth grade in Moose Jaw and became longtime friends. We had such fun times as children. Carrol's dad would put up a tent in the back yard so we could camp out! We played baseball after school, rode our bikes and just enjoyed each others company. Even though Carrol and family ended up in Calgary and my family and I are in Ottawa, we managed to keep in touch over the many years. Whenever I was in Moose Jaw to visit my Mom (Inez), Carrol and Pat would arrange to be there to visit Phyllis. When Pat, Carrol, Julie and Angela came to Ottawa to attend a family wedding, we were able to meet again and had a very special evening - what lovely girls! I'll miss you my dear friend.

Dear Pat and family,
What a terrible shock and loss for you all. Carrol was indeed the epitomy of what a true lady is...kind, caring, calm and always interested in the people around her. Such a beautiful lady inside and out. Don and I truly enjoyed our time together over these recent years, particularly our 9 hole rounds of golf and visits afterwards with you both. Carrol was always talking about her girls, grandkids and families and beamed with pride. And Pat, seeing you two together and how you treat each other was always a joy to be around. Loved how you called her "mom" on the golf course. We will miss her very much. Love and hugs to you all.
To Pat and your family, we are deeply saddened and our prayers and love are with you all as you struggle with the sudden loss of Carrol. I had the pleasure of working with Carrol and her kind and gentle demeanor was a blessing to the staff and all her students. She will be missed. Love Karen and Gord
Angela, Kevin and Patrick....I remember meeting your mom at Patrick's baby shower at Ronda's....although our conversation was brief, she struck me as a very kind and gentle lady! Words are difficult and I know your heart must be broken....may all your memories you have of your mom help your through this very sad time....sending loads of hugz your way....Dawn

I was so shocked to hear this news. My heart goes out to all of you. Your mom (Julie, Nancy & Ang) was an amazing person, friend and colleague. And Pat, an amazing wife for 49 years. I feel so fortunate I was able to experience all of the above first hand. I met Carrol 22 years ago when both of us were taking our Educational Assistant Certification at the University of Calgary. I fell in love with her gentle, and caring personality and was so jealous of her beautiful hair color. She was a hidden gem and our friendship was special. It was going to be my turn to host you both for our Annual Fall Dinner. How things can change so quickly.
Love you all.
Dear Pat, Nancy, Julie, Angela and families.
Our sincere condolences to all of you. This sudden passing of Carrol has left us deeply saddened.
Always so gracious, kind and welcoming with that contagious smile, it was such a pleasure to share pleasantries and happenings with Carrol almost every day.

Pat and family;
I am so saddened to hear of Carrol's passing. Although I only met her a few times when she attended one of our Motor Vehicle Department events, I really enjoyed the opportunity I had to talk with her and get to know her and your family a little bit. She seemed to me to be a very kind, gracious and intelligent woman that you were blessed to have in your life. You have my sincere condolences and my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
