Condolences
Groetjes peetoom ome Jan Zoontjens.
A memory I have is when she came to Canada and couldn't speak English but some how we still communicated we had fun together as kids at aunt Mia's house swimming and trying the surf board, swimming across the lake to get ice cream with noodles she is an inspiring young woman the most strongest young woman I knew, following her on Facebook her runs, now she is a angle up with all the loved one we lost but never forgotten, love Laurie,Breannah, Violet,Gabriella,Bobby.
"Those we love, don't go away,
they walk beside us every day.
Unseen unheard, but always here,
still loved, still missed, still very dear."
Dear Sean, family and friends,
We wish you much strength with the great loss of a sweet, special and powerful woman.
Marloes...
She will live on in our hearts and we will cherish the memories of her.
Lots of love from her cousin Claudina, Allan and their children Dinthe and Giael from the Netherlands.
Thank you Sean for arranging this live stream of Marloes’ Celebration of Life. It was so touching and gave a heartwarming glimpse into the awesome young woman she was. She gave us all an example of a Life Well Lived.
May these memories and the love and support of family and friends ease these difficult times for you.
God Bless.
Sean, family and friends.
The day has come to say goodbye to this young, lovely, sparkling lady.
I hope the good memories will carry you trough this day.
She fought against an invisible enemy. Most of the time Marloes won, but finally had to bow her head.
I wish you all strength to carry on without her.
Berrie Zoontjens, one of her uncles from the Netherlands.

Sean, my condolences to you and your family. Marloes was such a beautiful person both inside and out. I fondly remember having conversations with her in the kitchen at Wellspring. She was so full of life! She made such a big impression on me in such a short time. Sending hugs,

Marloes is my much younger cousin. When she first came to Canada she lived with my family in Ottawa for three months before she decided there was much more adventure to be experienced. So she left for Alberta and she found her future. Rest easy dear Marloes. You deserve it. Until we meet again.
Marloes became an integral part of our volunteer team here at the Calgary Zoo. She really enjoyed volunteering with our Animal Care team and always had great stories to share with me after her shifts. Thank you so much Marloes for all you did for the Calgary Zoo. We will miss you immensely. My deepest sympathies to her family.
Marcella.

I just wanted to say that I was Marloes’s manager at Le Chateau and I have such fond memories of working with her! She was a great employee, and as a person she was so unique and special. I loved how down to earth she was, and her attitude was wonderful to be around! She will always be in my heart..I appreciated her a lot! Rest In Peace, Marloes. You will be missed.
