Condolences
I can’t put into words how much it hurt me to hear the news. Will was truly one of the kindest and thoughtful people I have ever met. If it wasn’t for him helping me through a tough period in my life I’m not certain I’d be here today. I really cannot emphasize enough how much he meant to me. Even when we drifted apart when I moved from Calgary, he would check up on me and make sure I was ok. Will was like a bright light during a dark period of my life and for that I will always love him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family. I am so sorry for your loss.
Troy,Lois and family, Pam and I are deeply saddened by the loss of Will or Billy Jarge as i may have called him as as a baby. We watched the beautiful service online and wish we could have been there. Hugs to all you folks and call us back in Ottawa some time.Take care friends.

I first met Will during the club soccer season in middle school at CalGlen. From then on, we had several subjects together at Western and I will always remember him as the kind, caring and easygoing person that he was. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing and would like to extend my deepest condolences to his family.
Dear the Ferguson Family,
I went on the Europe trip back in 2019 with Will, and am deeply saddened by the news. I offer my condolences to you in this difficult and trying time. Will was an amazing man, and we bonded hard during our month together. He was smart, hilarious, and always made everywhere he went a better place. The memories I made with Will are going to stick with me for life. From touring cities, exploring Venice, to having a beer with him in Germany, he left a imprint on me, and helped make me into a better man. Will was a amazing and great friend to me, and supported me whether I needed help with an assignment, or helping me with issues I was having. He was an amazing person, and I love him dearly. I’m very sorry for your loss, but please know, Will changed me, and will not be forgotten by me, and by all of those that knew him.
Dear Lois, Troy, Ross, and Hugh,

Although I didn’t know Will very well, I did play soccer with him in high school and he was always a friendly teammate. I got to know who he was by playing with him that season. Through soccer I discovered his friendship and kindness to others that I will remember forever. I am happy to have known him and I am sad to hear of his passing.
Troy, Lois, Ross, & Hugh,

Please know we are all here in Collingwood thinking about you and sharing in your grief during this very difficult time.
You are all in our hearts and minds in the difficult days ahead.
With much love, Albert, Linda, Tara and Krista Stewart and family.
Dear Troy, Lois, Ross, and Hugh,
We have just finished viewing the celebration of life service for Will online.
We were devastated to learn about your tragic loss. We were fortunate to meet Will, Ross and Hugh when they were quite young. Wonderful, enthusiastic children with loving parents! Hugh was just a baby. We visited a few times afterwards and enjoyed seeing the boys as they grew to the next stage. We enjoyed your Ontario visit with the Ferguson relatives in the Kincardine area too, especially when we got to see Grandma Helen as well.
Your years with Will were cut short but they were quality years with a kind loving spirit and we were grateful to learn more about Will since we saw him last. May your good memories of Will along with all your good friends and family help sustain you during this difficult time.
Love,
Doug & Anne Eadie
Dear Lois, Troy, Ross & Hugh
We are so sad for your loss and can't put into words anything that we feel can help you to come to peace with the loss of Will.
We did not know Will personally but clearly he was an amazing kid as would be expected with solid parents like you Troy & Lois.
But after such a heartfelt tribute we can see that strength & love are a solid foundation for your family.
This will surely see you through these hard times.
Our thoughts, hearts and prayers are with you all and nothing but supportive wishes for you moving strongly forward.
Thinking of you always and big hugs.
Rob, Lisa, Eva & Carson Vogel
To the Ferguson Family, I want you all to know every word spoken about Will was true. He will be remembered as a loving, kind, and interesting young adult. Even though we grew apart over the years I can still feel the presence he had in every room and you should be proud of the young man you raised. May he forever be in peace.
- Jaime Short

Lois, Troy, Ross and Hugh,
I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the depth of your heartbreak. My thoughts and sincerest sympathies are with you.
Jenn
Hearing of Will’s tragic passing has been disheartening to say the least. When I think back to my fondest memories in school, one year in particular that stands out is grade 9. Will was a main contributor to all those laughs and great times we shared in class, maybe when when weren’t supposed to. Any of his friends in that class could say the same. Since then, I have had the privilege of being friends with such a funny, kind, creative, and smart individual. Every time I was around him he had so much humorous energy and brought a lighthearted mood. Will was a great friend to me as well as many others and will be missed. I hope that he is now at peace in a better place
I would like to offer my deepest condolences and support to the Fergerson family during this tragic and difficult time.
Troy, Lois, Ross and Hugh,
Our thoughts are with you.
Sending you all our Love and Energy.
Sincerely, Steve & Sue Trimble
Dear Lois, Troy, Ross and Hugh,
Words seem inadequate to express the heartbreak felt over the loss of such a dear soul. Will was a student who brought light, laughter, and kindness to my classroom. He was an adorable little imp and such an integral part of that wonderful group of young people. When the boys in the class were acting silly and I would try to set them straight, Will would give me a look that would melt my heart and I would end up laughing right along with him and the boys.
My deepest, most sincere condolences to you, to all of Will’s loving family and to his cherished friends.
Lois, Troy, Ross and Hugh,
We are devastated by this news. Our hearts are breaking for you. Just know we are thinking of you, sending all of our love, well wishes and support your way.
Warmly and with much love,
Edi, Kim, Liv, Henry, Sophie and Jack Podivinsky

I was so blessed to have met will, he was such a kind and happy person to be around and never failed to uplift the spirits of those around him. The memories of time spent with will such as driving around blasting music and singing along ( more like screaming along ) are never to be dull as time goes by. My condolences to his family, he is never to be forgotten and will live on in such happy memories shared by many <3
Sincere condolences to the Ferguson family from a fellow Scarboro resident, Kathy Gerritsen.❤️
Lois, Troy, Ross and Hugh,
There are no words that can express the sadness we feel hearing this news. We have spent considerable time reflecting on how Will’s life journey matters so much. Will has no doubt affected many people who knew and loved him but also many people he may not have even ever known. Will’s life journey matters, it is important and it will save lives. We wrap our arms around your family during this difficult time and we offer you our sincerest condolences.
May Will’s life legacy live on to the fullest.
Much love,
Rochelle Dvorkin and Allan Frouws
Troy, Lois, Ross and Hugh,
While I never had the fortune to meet Will I know the stories and how incredibly proud his family is of him. All my love and support goes out as you reflect and celebrate Will’s life. My deepest sympathies.

Troy
I cannot express how sad we are for you and your family. You have deepest sympathies for the loss of Will. May you take comfort with the friends and family that surround you.
Sincerely
Kris, Meghan, and Vanessa Quinn
I was lucky enough to call Will one of my closest friends, we had grown up together and shared many special memories. I remember one time I made him and Aidan go shopping with me at a female clothing store called Aritzia, and although I spent 2 hours there he did not complain once, that just showed his character as such a genuine good friend. I used to drive him to school almost every day and then he would come over every weekend and it was always the absolute best time, he had the best humour and would show us the funniest Youtube videos. He was such a kind soul with the biggest heart and was one of the most trustworthy people I have ever met. He deeply cared about every single one of his friends and I was blessed to be one of them.
Troy, Lois, Ross, and Hugh my deepest condolences, he will be missed by everyone.
I cannot begin to fathom the magnitude of this loss. To my dear old friends, condolences feel inadequate.
For almost 6 years, every one of my frequent visits to the West involved at least one night at the Ferguson's.
Please know that I have always held those memories in the highest regard. The boys always welcomed me into their home. Will was super excited to see me and couldn't wait to show me all the things he was into. It was a very busy, very special time that I will never ever forget.
Rest in peace young man. You were so loved.
Marty
I am so grateful for for ever having the privilege of knowing Will. When I think of Will I think of the countless sleepovers filled with his impressions and pranks calls. The videos that he would edit together filled with humour and smiles. The many times I would come over after school to hangout, play video games, and eat candy that were more than worth upsetting my allergies. The ski trips and trip to japan. The Soccer games and movies. He was always the greatest of friends and people. One of the most thoughtful, bright, and kind person the world will ever know.
Troy, Lois, Ross, and Hugh I give you my sincerest condolences. Thank you Will for being such a good friend and for the countless memories. Rest easy.
Will was the most creative, funny and kind person I knew. He never failed to make his friends feel comfortable in his presence and bring a light to their day. In the days after middle school I wouldn’t see Will that often, but when we did hangout, he made it feel like it was grade 9 again. Will had a energy that made it so easy for me to be myself, and I can same the same for everyone who knew him.
Trying to keep up with will on the ski hill had me exhausted after every run. The panorama trips with the Ferguson family are some of my fondest memory’s, (sorry again about the iPad). Still remember Troy waking all of us up so we could get the most out of the day. Will was humble about his skill as a skier but he inspires me none the less.
Troy, Louis, Ross, Hugh, my deepest condolences, you have been so welcoming to all of Wills friends. Thank you for staying strong and allowing us to do the same.
I first met will in grade 11 chemistry class. We quickly bonded over are shared hatred for chemistry and spend most of the class getting warning looks from ms Webb. Will was the kind of guy you would let hold your drink. He was kind, caring, protective and made me feel safe. He was also the guy that never failed to put a smile on anyone's face. I honestly don't think I've met a guy who ever made me laugh harder. Will quickly became the guy across the hallway from me at stfx. Every hallway hey quickly turned into a 30 minute chat. I will never forget Will, words can't express how much he was loved by mackinnon hall and many others. My deepest condolences to the Fergusion family. He will be missed greatly ❤️
Ferguson family you have our deepest condolences during this difficult time. Will was a kind hearted young student that will be missed but never forgoten.
Shane and Val Sokolan
Troy, Lois, Ross and Hugh,
You have our deepest sympathies in the tragic loss of Will. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I couldn't believe Will was already 19 years old, the last time I got the chance to see him, all the boys were so young. I can't even begin to imagine the heartache you all must feel, but please know the rest of your family and friends are all here for you through this terribly sad time.
Tyler MacFarlane
Dear Troy, Lois and Family,

Troy, Lois, Ross and Hugh
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We will always have Will in our hearts.
Love Aunt Kathy & Uncle Gary
So very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.
Since meeting Will part way through grade 12 he had become one of my best friends. Will always had an iconic smile on his face and would bring laughter and joy to our lives with his witty jokes and banter. I will always remember the nuances of Will's enthusiastic, humorous, and caring personality that made him such a good friend. Will was such a special person to everyone around him, and to commemorate him, myself, Emmett and Matt have hung up his StFX jersey in our apartment. Will has had a permanent effect on my life, and will be deeply missed and remembered through all the funny and amazing memories we've made with him.
I'd like to give my deepest condolences to Will's family and every other person whose life he has touched. Will was a beautiful soul, and it is such a terrible loss that he is no longer with us.
With love,
Cole Beasant
Will was one of the funniest kids I knew. He would always be the one to make you laugh. I would look forward to every summer because I would get to see him and spend every single day with him. Growing up and being at the cottage every summer, Will was always there with me and I would always have someone to hang out with. We would always find the most craziest things to do. We would always plan out our summers and what we wanted to do. We would talk about it all the time. Will will be missed at the cottage as he brought joy and a smile everyday. The memories we made together at the cottage will live me forever. The times with Will at the cottage were some of the best times of life. Will was such a great friend and will be very much missed.
I would like to give my warmest condolences to Will’s family, and anyone that had the immense privilege of knowing Will. When I heard the news I was in shock. When I think of Will, I think of the unconditional kindness that beamed from him, I think of his ability to make everyone near him feel special and loved, I think of the support that he had for his family and his friends. This world isn’t going to be the same without such a beautiful human.
I also had the opportunity of having a relationship with Will’s younger brother Ross. Ross and my younger brother have been friends for many years. I want to send as much love as I can to him, I know that Will was one of the most amazing role models Ross could have. He was extraordinarily understanding, kind and loving no matter the situation. I am going to miss the connection and supportive conversations Will and I had about our brothers.
Last year I deferred moving to StFX for university due to Covid. This year, prior to coming, Will and I were in contact about everything. He gave me the best advice about what it was like out here and was constantly ensuring that he would be there if anything happened. This just affirms what a supportive and special person he was.
I am so thankful for having the opportunity to know such a special human. Once again, my deepest condolences to Will’s family.
With Love,
Avery Vadnai
My deepest condolences to friends and family. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity of knowing Will. He was always so kind and friendly when I passed him the halls of residence, sat with him at meal hall, played intramural sports, or even just had a genuine conversation. Such a kind soul gone too soon. Ready easy Kreese❤️
I was fortunate enough to get to know Will over our first year at stfx. We couldn’t have asked to have a better neighbour and friends in the building, he always knew how to put a smile on the face of anyone he was around. Will was an unbelievably kind and welcoming person and his presents will be missed greatly by all who had the opportunity to get to know him.
I had the pleasure of living in residence with Will at STFX. He was always kind, inclusive, and welcoming. He never failed to have a smile on his face and always had a happy presence wherever he went. My favourite memory of Will was giving him a bracelet we had made, he was so excited about a silly little beaded bracelet, but nonetheless made us know how grateful he was for it.
I send my deepest condolences to Will’s family and friends. He was loved and appreciated within his STFX family, and we will certainly not be complete without him.
Thoughts and prayers to your family. We are so sorry to hear about Will.
Raynel, Kassidy and Zachary Constantin
Deepest condolences from Mark, Robbie and I on the loss of your son. We were so grateful that Will and Robbie were paired on the Blythe trip. Will was a wonderful room mate and friend for Robbie and will always be remembered by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Will was always super sweet and upbeat any time you saw him in residence. One thing I always noticed about Will was how polite he was for a first-year boy. He was always well mannered, asking how your day was, holding the door, or just being inclusive. He really was a bright light in our residence. Even though we wore masks most of the year you could always see he was smiling behind the mask and never forgot to say hello. My best memory of Will was coming to school in September and seeing a friendly familiar face from Calgary. Emmett, Lauren, Anna, Will, Cole and I sang and danced all night and I will never forget it.
He will always be remembered he was a very good person.
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. Life is really unfair for so many people. Sounds like your son made his mark on you all and achieved so much! God bless him and you all!♡

Ferguson family, we’re filled with sadness at this news. I feel lucky to have shared time with Lois and the boys during preschool and kindergarten, where Will was always a trusting, helpful and kind presence. Walking through Royal Sunalta Park today where we so often used to meet with our toddlers, I remembered his brightness and childhood joy. Love to all of you.
