My sincere condolences on the loss of Brian. I had the great fortune of working with him for several years. He was a great guy - funny and kind. He will be so missed by all who knew him. ❤️
I am so sorry about the sudden and unexpected passing of the father of my 3 children. We had many good times together. Some of which I can't share publicly. But his loss will be a great one.
It hasn't happened as frequently in recent years but I always enjoyed running into Brian. He always had a big smile, firm puffy handshake and lots of enthusiasm for sharing stories to get "caught up". I will miss those encounters. R.I.P. Brian. Condolences to his entire family.
We send our condolences to the Shlah family. This is such an unbearably hard time for you all right now. You love Brian so much. He will always be missed. You have many happy memories. These will help in the darkest times. He will forever be in your hearts.
My family has many happy and memorable memories of camping with the Slhah family in the Okanagan Valley when we were young.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am sorry and saddened to hear of Brian's passing. My heart goes out to his family and all who where close to him.
I attended high school with Brian and reconnected with him through mutual friends. Although I haven’t seem him in years, we remained friends on F.B. I will remember him as a kind man who loved a good political debate, loved photography, especially of Alberta and was a very proud Grandpa and father.
May he Rest In Peace ❤️
Brian was a colleague and friend. Someone I deeply respected and admired. I knew Brian to always go the extra mile for his team and his work. As we remember him we remember a great leader, family man, mentor, and friend. My sincerest condolences.
My condolences to the Shlah family. I got to know Brian when he lived in Naperville where he was affectionately known as Canadian Brian. He was a friend to me and I will always remember his sense of humor as well as his empathy for others. Peace be with all of you and Brian.

Our condolences to the family. We had the privilege of knowing and working with Brian for almost 25 years. He was a great co-worker and just an all around great person. He will be missed.
Brian’s friendship…a blessing. So many great memories, no bad ones except on the day I heard of B passing. Since then focusing on all the smiles and laughter over the years. Also all of the joy he brought to the people who were lucky enough to share time with him.
