I worked with Art for all his time at the Rockyview Hospital. I always had great respect for Art's dedication to doing the best job he could, no matter what he was asked. I loved when he followed my day shift. The evening shift started at 3:30 pm and Art would always arrive a minimum of 20 minutes before he started, so he could clean up and arrange the cast room just the way he wanted. He would always shoo me out and say, "That's ok, I got it from here". I attended Christmas parties with Art and another original orderly Gordon Gascoine and we were always able to laugh and enjoy a beer together. I'm saddened to hear of his passing with Covid. I'm glad I had the pleasure of working with him.
