Condolences
Memories of my cousin Ted will always warm my heart. He was a kind and gentleman who had a wonderful sense of humour. He was a respected horseman following in the footsteps of his dad. He was knowledgeable as a skilled outdoorsman, trapping, hunting and fishing and could tell a great story with a smile that I will always remember. He spent a life “well lived”.
I send sincere condolences to all the family.
RIP precious cousin.
I have very found memories of Ted from the age of a very young child. We enjoyed trading and bartering over the years. I admired Ted's trapping, hunting and horsemanship skills, he mentored me in many ways that I utilized in years to come. Ted was like his Dad Bill a very kind and gentle man. Ted was a wonderful family man and my Mom: Rita Mickle Smith & my Dad: Norman Smith enjoyed many good times with the Ted & Dot as well as Bill & Vi - Mom's sister.
Ted may your adventures continue and give the family a hug for me. You will be dearly missed.
Sincerely Ricky Smith

My condolences to all the family of Ted Loblaw. I met Ted ( and Dot ) at Nordegg ranger Station when posted to Chungo LO about mid April 1965. I worked in the Forest Radio Comms room a couple of fire seasons later. Many conversations with them both at that time. Considered them both good friends
Jesse, Mike, and Dennis that were good friends to Ted, we’re like wise to me.
Many memories from those days I’ll always cherish. Many years later, when Ted and I met, was easy to pick up the conversation and carry on like friends. May all the good memories give you strength.

Terri and family, it was so sad of hearing Ted's passing. I was so proud to have worked for him at the Nordegg Ranger Station and he was a terrific role model. After he moved to the Rocky acreage we used to stop in to visit him when we were in town. One day upon leaving he took our kids into his garage and we spent another two hours there as he showed the kids many of his neat things and told them stories. Loved the guy and I have so many fond memories of him. Mike and Michelle Poscente
