Obituary of Frederick Cameron Ripley

Fred Ripley of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the age of 80 years and is now with his beloved wife, Elfrieda, who predeceased him on September 17, 2008.
Fred was born in Drumheller, AB, on August 6, 1941, before moving on to spend his life in Calgary. Fred was incredibly proud of his long-term career with Canadian Freightways. After retiring, Fred loved to spend time with his best dog buddy Prince, and you could find them tending his yard and garden in Calgary or riding his lawn tractor at his Smoky Lake farm.
Fred is survived by his daughter Charmain, and his son Todd (Jody), along with grandsons, Tristan, Logan, Cole, and Grady. Fred is also survived by his sisters, Alma and Mary, and brother Jim. Fred was predeceased by his wife Elfrieda, sister Violet, brothers Ken, Doug, and Clarence.
A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, (Erlton St. & 31 Ave SW, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
