Condolences
I have many fond memories of my elementary years hanging out with Chris. I’m truly at loss, like everyone else, and regret not keeping in touch. The lesson is to enjoy life to the fullest, appreciate your family & your friends, and make an effort to connect with those you have lost contact with. My deepest condolences to Chris’ family and friends.
Craig McLaughlin
I hadn’t thought about Chris probably 30 years. Today, out of nowhere, I had a memory of Chris, Craig McLaughlin and myself going to gymnastics at Altadore on Friday nights when we were in grade 5 and 6. I decided to look him up, and saw I’ve missed his funeral by a few hours. I am beside myself, and terribly sad for his loss. My condolences to his entire family and network of friends. I wish I’d not lost touch…
Graham Heath (with condolences also from my parents, Collin and Michelle, who used to share the parental duty of taxiing us around).
I live two doors down and walk my dogs daily by Chris who'd often be outside; he & I would chat as I passed. He was always tinkering on vehicles or getting his dirt bikes ready for a day of fun. Most notably, I loved to see he & Reid spending father/son time together outside. He will be missed in the neighborhood. My most sincere condolences to his family, especially Bailey & Reid with whom I had the most positive interactions.
I was surprised and sadden to here of Chris's passing. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Words fail to express my deep sorrow for your loss. My heart goes out to all of Chris's family and friends. Chris was an amazing guy and I feel privileged to have known him and will miss the many great visits we had at all of the various family functions throughout the years.
I am saddened that I unfortunately won't be able to attend Chris's memorial service by Zoom, however you are all in my thoughts and prayers!

My deepest condolences to Chaya & Reid and everyone else in Chris’s family and friend circle. I knew Chris as a gym Dad. What a fabulous and dedicated gym Dad he was! He never tired watching his son and gym buddies train for hours. He was a proud fixture on the CGC balcony whenever Reid was training and he could be there. No one else could stay as long as Chris. He certainly was the parent with the most stamina! I always enjoyed chatting with him, and he’d often have a training update for me about my son as he paid such close attention to what the kids were doing. He will certainly be missed.
All our love, thoughts, hugs and caring wishes during this difficult time.
Alison, Marty & Kaeden.
Chris was an amazing man. I remember when I took my family into the hangar and immediately Chris was there to lend a hand and them around. He offered to show my grandson and granddaughter the cockpit and let him drive the aircraft and gave him a few pointers. Chris also thought that since my granddaughter wasn't interested in the cockpit he'd let her wash the aircraft and also gave her pointers on what not to wash. Chris was such a caring and thoughtful man and always asked about my family and how they were doing. He was a friend; a true WestJetter and may you rest in peace Chris.
Sending condolences to family, friends and his collogues

My condolence to the Campbell's family. I didn't know Chris well but enough to know he was a kind and wonderful person. On occasions, we would sit on the CGC balcony and watch our son train together. Chris was so proud of Reid's progress. I am so glad Chris was able to watch Reid compete and stand tall in the Las Vegas meet.
Thank you for taking the time to explain how a turbo charge engine works to my son, and trying to fix the frozen wipers on my wife's van in Edmonton on that frigid day. Your act of kindness and generosity did not go unnoticed. Your gymnastic family and friends will miss you, and we will always have a seat up in the balcony for you. Rest in peace, Chris!

To Chris's family and friends. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I met Chris when he was just starting out as an apprentice at Aero Aviation and in later years worked with him at WestJet. Chris became one of the most knowledgeable and able people in the maintenance of WestJet's airplanes. He used to joke with me about being too hard on him when he was an apprentice but then always said that he learned a lot. Please know that Chris was an excellent and caring aircraft mechanic and he will be sorely missed by all his co-workers. With great sadness. Rick Hodge.
Sending my deepest condolences to you and your family at this time. Chris and I went to high school together, and though it has been many years since I had seen him, I will always remember him as one of the good guys.
