Condolences
Our sincere condolences to James and family as you deal with the loss of Terry. We watched the service today - it was a lovely tribute to a woman who loved family, people and music. Our thoughts are with you all. So sorry for your loss.
I am so very sorry for your loss. The service today was beautiful. One of the many memories I have of Aunt Terry was she always did my hair when she came to visit us inOntario. You were so right her house was always open she let me stay there when I couldn't make it home from the hospital after an evening shift and there was a snow storm. She will be missed and we will all think of her often. I have donated in her memory to bag lunch program. Love to you all. The Chaplins

"Wanda and I are honoured to respond to the shocking news of the sudden passing of the beloved Terry!.Always supportive and standing with the entire Tario Family since we moved on to 18st NE in 1959.The special bonds she had with my sisters (Wendy and Brenda) and our Mother Wilma lasted a lifetime and will never be forgotten by us who remain. For myself ( Denis ) , besides the grooming, she allways had a listening ear and wide open mind to help me through the diificult times that life gives us . She loved Paul Mcartney and was like her brothers Paul , Keith and Donny a marvelous singer and muscian and allways was encouraging us other less talented minstrels to just join in!.Like many of us due to circumstances beyond our control I will be joining the streamling of this briliant celebration of Terrys life today wishing I could be there in person to share hugs and love with Jim , Alex , Eric , Rick and Donnie. She has finally much too soon joined " The Band On The Run" and we are all listening loud and clear!!Foreve in our hearts and Souls , Terry Jim and Family Denis and Wanda Tario and Family

I am feeling a huge sadness and loss at hearing of the very premature loss of Terry, to her family and many friends, whom I pride myself very happily as being one. I moved to the 'big' city of Calgary in 1965 and at the age of 14 started grade 9 at Colonel MacLeod Jr High where I met Terry very shortly after. We lived in a far removed area of the city at the time (in the Belfast neighbourhood) and I was lucky to have made such a great friend so quickly. We were very close throughout our 'freedom' years of the late 60's while she worked at the Havana Coffee House on 7th Ave. Ultimately, however we wandered off in different directions, she to Montreal and myself to Vancouver. We still always managed to touch base in those early years until I moved 'Down Unde during which we lost touch for several years. We very happily reconnected about 15 years ago on Classmates.com and happily have remained in touch through telephone calls ever since. Her passing leaves me terribly empty, but I know that will one day, her memory and the fun and reckless times we shared in our younger years will fill this void and she'll remain in my heart until my turn arrives. Farewell dear girl...with love.
Terry filled many roles in my life; mom, best friend, and sister. We were very close the majority of my life. This loss is huge for the entire Jaquish family, she was the matriarch and the glue that kept us together. Always hosting Christmas dinner and expecting all of us youngens to show up. She was the boss and she taught us not to take moments with family for granted. Bringing her family together was her pride and joy. I was lucky to travel to England with her to visit relatives which is a memory I will never forget. I wore an entire bottle of Charlie perfume on the plane ride home, let’s just say that didn’t go well. A story she would tease me about well in to my forties. We shared a passion for hair and make up and music. I think my favourite thing to do with her was just having tea at her kitchen table and chatting. She was there with me in the birthing room when I delivered my daughter. She was in my wedding as matron of honour. She was always there to help out a family member and was a motherly influence in my daughters life as well, I’m so grateful. She is stunningly beautiful on top of being the best person ever. I loved her so much. PS. Auntie, you were right. I’m so sorry. RIP. Love Michelle Xo
Terry was 3 years younger than me so there was a brief time when she thought I was cool. I took her with me to the odd party when I was going to SAIT. She would be all dressed up and looking really good. All the boys would flirt with her but she would just laugh and be prim and proper. They loved it! That's a memory I have of Terry and I think it always held true. She was fun and had a great laugh and just had a way about her. Sorry to see you go, Terry. From Cousin Betty.
My deepest condolences on the loss of Terry. I met Terry many many years ago when I owned my Merle Norman. We quickly became friends and I always enjoyed our times together. Sending your family prayers for peace and comfort during this sad time.
