Condolences
This is long overdue as it has taken a while for me to process Ronnie's passing. I was away for the entire summer and returned to Calgary on the very day she left us. Ronnie was an active participant with our cooking crew at the Community Kitchen. We met once a month for planning and our Power Cook was always on the third Thursday of the month. We always welcomed Shayne and Michayla when they were available to help us prep and cook. On behalf of the staff of Community Kitchen of Calgary, please accept their deepest condolences. We cooked this past Thursday and Ronnie was sorely missed. We kept marveling at the way Ronnie had organized our recipes and our Planning Binder, not to mention our supplies. She was such a positive woman with a keen sense of humour. She seemed to have taken her health issues bravely and often said It Is What It Is! We will always remember our dear friend. God Bless her and may she forever rest in peace.

I have known Rhonda for the past 13 yrs as she was my neighbor .She was an amazing lady and taken far too young ,.My deepest sympathy to her parents and also Brrandon and Shayne .She will be missed .
I have visit this page several times not knowing where to start the flood of emotion and memories was too much.
Rhonda and I met at work, this little country girl in the big city for university, and quickly hit it off with laughs and good times in the break room. We became quick friends and then I met and instantly fell in love with her boys Brandon and Shayne. We became a big family living together, even Greg, when I wouldn't have it any other way. Making so many wonderful memories. Roadtrips, family campouts, chuckwagons and so much more. John and Jacky added me into their clan and treated me as their own. Rhonda's smile filled the room and her infectious laughter brightened any day. She lived for family and tackled whatever life threw at her. Her sense of humor the best and oh how her imagination got her in some scares.
She had a genuine and big heart. I regret that time and distance did not have us together though I thought of she and the boys often. I still have cards and momentos they made for me when I moved away and an album full of the good times. The laughs we shared, the tears we cried, and memories we have live on brightly inside.
My heart, strength and love are sent to Brandon and Shayne along with John, Jacky and Greg. She flies free with the angels now.
Until we meet again. Xoxo
Although I have only known Rhonda for the past 4 years, she had come to be one of my favorite people. She was a generous, resilient and kind woman who made an impact on my life. Rhonda found great joy in spending time with her family. My heart goes out to them in this time of loss.
I feel so honoured that I was part of Rhonda’s extended family for the past thirty-five years. I will miss her so much .. her smile, her sense of humour and our conversations (especially while we were doing dishes during all of our camping trips — her and I could always pick out which dishes went to which RV - LOL!). I will cherish these memories. In the last ten years she had to deal with so much .. and she always approached everything head-on and with a smile. Rhonda has left this earth far too early, but in my heart I know she is in a better place and no longer has to suffer. Aunt Jack, Uncle John, Greg, Brandon and Shayne, all of you will be in my thoughts and prayers, and I offer you my love and support in this very difficult time.
