Condolences
Condolences to John and Laura ,Ivan and family and Don and family .
I began Grade one with Lee ( Leona as I knew her ) and we graduated together 12 years later .
Had many adventures through those 12 years in Foxwarren ,MB .
She was a great figure skater which was a feat I never required .I spent a few sleepovers out at the farm and went through the “ torture” of Eveyn’s ( Lee’s mom) hair treatments which ensured the two of us went to school with lovely curls the next day !
As Don mentioned ,those rides in those vans were an experience which would never be forgotten !
Lee and I went our separate ways and had very different lives .
However , when we met again at the many Foxwarren reunions we always seemed to have so much to talk about and it was like we had been apart only a few years .
Her greatest source of pride was her son ,John .
I shall always admire Lee for her love of her mom who was a major part of Lee’s life here in Calgary .
I shall recall Lee with fondness and remember the “days of our youth “.
