Condolences
I will always remember Steve for his humour, our chats and I so enjoyed working for him his last years at AHS. He was so proud of his family. It was with great sadness that I heard about his passing. Rest in Peace friend. Barb wishing you peace through this difficult time. Alicia Duncan.
Steve was our leader-mentor in Financial Services at AHS. He was the most kind, down to earth & commonsensical person I worked for. I enjoyed his light hearted comments, his no-nonsense attitude & his down to earth manner . Although I have been retired for some time, I have not forgotten him & the world will be more sad without him in it. May you Rest In Peace, Steve..
Meeting Steve at U of A in the late 60’s , then continuing a friendship which prevailed despite geographic changes is a wonderful and fulfilling friendship experience - Steve, you have been a good friend and I am made happier for having known you! - Jerry McAndrews
One of the things I will remember about Steve is his positive attitude. He always appeared upbeat with a ready smile or laugh. I will also always remember his fun-loving, teasing banter with you, Barb. You were a great team. Steve and I are so sorry for your loss and send our heartfelt condolences to yo as well as to Lorian and Chris and his family. Hopefully your many positive memories of Steve will help you through this difficult time. Love, Joyce and Steve McQuarrie
Steve started as a great boss and ended up being a great friend. I am grateful for all I learned from him - to always be caring and to have fun. I will treasure the golf games, drinks and time together in Canmore.

My lasting memories of Steve will be his warm , welcoming voice and his huge smile when he was talking about things that brought him joy; especially his grandchildren and his trips with Barb. Hard to accept that from now on he’ll have to live only in our memories. Sending deepest condolences to Barb, Lorain, Chris and family . Love, Jerry & Sandy McAndrews
