Condolences
I met Nan through Eastern Star. She was an amazingly kind lady who would jump in to help if she was needed. During my first run of being Worthy Matron, Nan stepped in often as our organist and did a wonderful job! Her music always made me smile, and her kindness always made me feel welcome. She will be missed.
Cousin Nan was my mom Alice's favourite cousin, they were lifelong friends. I remember her as kind, clever with an outstanding sense of humour and a pet lover. My dog Miss Betty and I visited her Thursdays, with my mom, and feel lucky to have had this time with her. We'll miss her always. xoxo Katherine Payne & Miss Betty
Nan was a great gal/ Jim too/ very sorry to hear of mums passing. We had lots of fun over the years going to Eastern Star functions with her best buddy Carol Chisholm being our Chauffeur through Canada and the USA. If i was looking to locate Nan on one of our many shopping expeditions I could locate Nan at the matching sweater area or jewelry counter with Tina by her side at Macy's or whatever store Carol had taken us too/ if i could not locate your mum in the store i went to the food court where mum would be having a cup of tea.
I loved your mum/ grandma/ great grandma as she was very bright and never said a bad word about anyone. When i would complain about someone Nan would give that little smile that said i know what u mean lol
She'll be missed and so glad she had such wonderful families she loved all of you so much.
