Obituary of Lyman Terrell Hall

November 6, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

 

Lyman Terrel Hall, beloved husband of Beth Hall, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the age of 93 years.

 

Lyman was born in Vernal, Utah, USA on February 28, 1928. He worked as a lumberjack before serving the United States of America in the Armed Forces. He was deployed in the Korean and Vietnam wars and was stationed at the March Air Force in California for over 17 years and then stationed in Okinawa Airforce Base for 2 years.

 

Lyman married Beth on January 27th, 1973. He retired on June 1, 1975 as Senior Master Sergeant and moved to Calgary, Canada after retirement where they settled.

 

While in Canada he worked in construction for Parks Canada and volunteered at the Air Museum of Alberta in Calgary for a number of years.

 

Lyman loved the outdoors, especially shooting guns and riding horses. He also loved reading. He had an interest in carpentry and excelled at sheet metal work.  

Lyman is survived by his wife of many years, Beth Hall as well as his son Wayne (Marcha) Hall from California, his daughters Cindy (Allen) Simpson from California and Sara (Sandy) Bushore from Oregon as well as six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Lyman is also missed by his stepdaughter Marsha (Murray) Lott and their children Michael (Claudia) Lott, Michelle (Allan) Payne, Mindy (Trampas) Mayfield and Maria Gray as well as ten great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren who brought much joy to Lyman.
