Condolences
Dear Erika, Bill and Lindsay,
Although, we had not the occasion to see us very often, I keep an excellent souvenir from my Godmother Rose.
I remember joyfully her last visit in Bischwiller France.
Every year, during Christmas time, we exchanged some news from family and hope to see us again, perhaps in Canada.
But life is going on too quickly and this meeting could not happen unfortunately, and I regret.
Karl his brother and all the french family sent you our Sincerely Condolences.

Dear Erika, Bill and Arin,
WOW...what an incredible woman and an incredible life. Beautiful obituary, Erika.
We look forward to celebrating your mom in March.
Our deepest sympathy,
Caroline and Garth Gunther
I have memories of your mum as a strong germanic lady .
When i came to calgary to visit she took great care of me . and fed us well even though i was dieting we had to eat well those tarts she made yum
And i will always remember the way she plaited your hair with the red ribbon .
I had the pleasure of meeting Rose at the Providence Care Centre. Rose sat at the same dinner table as my mom and 2 other ladies. Sitting with the ladies having coffee, I remember Rose would watch my mom and another lady quite intently as they spoke in Italian with much animation. Rose would then turn to me and say, "I don't know what they are saying but it must be very interesting!"
This entire table of ladies are now all together having their afternoon coffee and cookies and sharing their stories. And I can still see Rose saying those words, "I don't know what they are saying, but it must be very interesting!"
My deepest condolences to the family! Rose's memories live on!
