Condolences
Kerri and Don have been neighbours to my family for over thirty years. I myself have been a neighbour to them for ten years. During that time I formed a friendship with them. Kerri held a very special and dear place in my heart. I had my first child in April of 2019, Ophelia. Kerri and Don were the first people to meet her outside of my immediate family. Kerri and Ophelia became close. They would always say hello to each other through the fence and chit chat for awhile. Kerri attended all of my events and gatherings including my baby shower and gender reveal. So many beautiful memories. I was so fortunate to have such a wonderful, kind, caring and beautiful neighbour and friend like Kerri. I will miss our chats. I will miss hearing her call my name over the fence. I will miss sharing all of Ophelia’s milestones with her. In a way, she felt more like family to me. She was always there when I needed help or someone to talk to, or even when I just needed a cup of sugar or flour. I know Kerri loved my Ophelia and she meant a great deal to Kerri. Ophelia loved her too and still asks about her. She will be dearly missed by myself and my entire family. My last memory with Kerri was her, myself and Ophelia blowing bubbles together in my laneway. It wasn’t too long before her passing. It was a nice sunny, mild day so we were outside and I heard Kerri call my name over the fence. She wanted to give Ophelia some bubbles. So she came over to my laneway with at least six little bottles of bubbles and we opened some and all blew bubbles together. Ophelia was so happy and therefore so was Kerri. I will cherish that memory for years to come. We love you Kerri. You will forever be in our hearts.

Dear Don and Katie and all of Kerri's family. We were saddened to hear of Kerri's passing. We have so many funny and happy memories of our soccer time together with our girls. It was some of the best times of our lives and Kerri was a big part of that. We had great meals together, lots of great trips and so many laughs.
We will always remember Kerri with her happy smile, her twinkling eyes and her big and generous heart.
Sending our deepest sympathy to all of you,
Dave and Linda McMillan
Our deepest condolences to Kerri's loving husband Don and their children on the loss of their loving wife, mother and grandma.
Peace & love to all,
Jim & Liz Dielessen.
We were so saddened by the news of Kerri's passing. Over the years, we have shared many good times and laughs and have great memories of the time we spent with Kerri, Don and their family – the backyard Stampede gatherings that Kerri and Don hosted for a multitude of friends and family, dinners together mutual long-time friends and country dancing lessons.
Ron delivered the Herald to the King's family home in Windsor Park in the 60's so the friendship goes way back and is timeless.
Take care Don, Kyle, Daniel and Katie. Surround yourself with the strength and love of family at this very difficult time.
