Donald (Don) Spencer Dixon, beloved husband of Vicky Dixon, of Calgary, AB, and father of beloved daughter Charlene Dixon of Edmonton, AB, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 6, 2021 at the age of 68 years.
 
Don was born in Calgary, AB, on February 7, 1953. He attended Bowness High School until 1969. He worked for the City of Calgary Waterworks department as a foreman for 30 years, retiring in 2010. Don was an avid camper, loved the outdoors, and his most memorable vacation was travelling across Canada with Vicky. 
 
Besides his loving wife of 41 wonderful years, Vicky Dixon, and daughter Charlene Dixon, he is survived by his sister Donna MacMillan of Slave Lake, AB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Dixon and Peggy Olenick; brother Murray Dixon, and sister Cindy Morgan.  He will always be remembered as a loving, devoted and caring husband and father.  Don was larger than life and his legacy and memory will be cherished.  He will be lovingly and deeply missed.
